Evaluation: Drama Poster 1. The client wanted a colourful A3 size poster which showed the 11 benefits of drama. The target audience for this poster was KS3 students who would be in a social class of E, both male and female and with no or little income. I produced this design on Photoshop. I opened up an A3 page. The font I used for the title ’11 Benefits of Drama’ I found on dafont.com. I then used the text tool and wrote all of the information that the client wanted on the poster. Due to there being no specific design or theme for this brief, I created a colourful poster which had all the information that I needed to include on it. I then used the rectangle shape tool to create different coloured shapes for each benefit. I then used the polygonal lasso tool to cut diagonal shapes off the end of each rectangle to create polygons. 2. The client wanted a bright and colourful poster therefore I used bright colours on my poster to link to the brief. This will attract the attention of the targeted audience.

Evaluation: Drama Poster

3. My final design fits the brief as I have created a colourful, A3 poster advertising the benefits of drama. I used a variety of different bright colours, and a clear and easy to read font. I used the text tool, polygonal lasso tool, and shape tool to create this poster.

I think my final design is simple yet colourful and has all of the information that the client wanted on it. I didn’t use any other work as inspiration and I didn’t change my design from my sketch.

4. We communicated with our clients by email and if they wanted, meeting up with them so that we were able to discuss their needs and ideas. We mainly worked independently when creating the designs for the briefs. We managed our time effectively by selecting a group of people to work on each brief, and we made sure that we had enough time to complete them before the deadline. I think that we have improved our teamwork skills by communicating more.
