Job Description Job title ERP Application Analyst Team IT Band Permanent Reporting to Senior Application Manager Management responsibility Responsible for Finance and HR application support Location Sheffield/London Purpose of the job The person appointed will be part of the IT Team, and will be responsible for 2 nd line support; analysis and design of changes, coordinate the technical changes, implementing application configurations, verification of fixes/changes, building reports and coordinating application releases into production for the Finance and HR applications. The role will principally involve working with Finance, HR and Procurement super users, 3 rd party IT delivery partners and IT teams to support and manage the changes. Main duties Application Support for incidents Incident resolution: Analyse, troubleshoot, fix, verify and deploy Minimise service disruption and the facilitation of service restoration within agreed SLA’s. Manage the communication to users for incidents Configuration and Administration Support for application Perform application configuration Support business with IT knowledge as required for them to be able to perform any configurations them self Administration of the application workflow Design and coordination of Technical Change Participate in Application change board along with Business super users and 3 rd party IT providers Impact assess, solution design and implement or work with 3 rd party to implement all application changes Manage the technical change log and the entire change process Application Release Coordination Planning application upgrades and new releases along with the release lead, business users, IT team and 3 rd party IT providers. Communication to the users, provide instructions and support if required. Application Continuous Improvement Proactively identify problem trends. Work towards a permanent solution i.e. root cause analysis to permanent fix Creation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members and the company Knowledge and experience Proven experience in 2 nd line support for business-critical Finance and HR applications. Extensive experience demonstrating the administration; analysis, design, configuration and implementation of changes involving COTS Products. Strong analytical and problem management skills are essential, enabling quick assessment of complex issues within solution involving cloud and on premise hosting. Demonstrable experience involving SQL, Excel Plugins, Single Sign on with Azure AD. Experience with similar roles within financial services.
