Weldment Parts Lesson

I opened the weldments file. I then selected the weldment tool bar and set the desired structural members setting. I then applied a corner treatment.

I then clicked “Create New Group” which allowed me to organize the crossmemmbers. I clicked on the next segments to create square tubing.

I then, zoomed over to the top right corner group and moved the pointer until it changed into a finger. After clicking this it allowed me to select a coner treatment. I selected the trim order to two.

I selected a new structural member and set the perameters. I then rotated it to fit and clicked the green check.

I selected Trim/ Extend and cut the excess tubing from the crossmember. I used the Keep and Discard toggles to decide which to keep.

Created an end cap by clicking End Cap and setting perameters.

Created a gusset point.

Created a Fillet weld.

I sketched and demensioned a line.

I mirrored the entities.

I used the lines to create paths for another two structural members.

I created a sub weldment group. I selected the pieces on the cut list and right clicked to place them in a group.
