The overview ...
The elko-mat eder multicontrol device family is the result of a consequent furtherdevelopment of the elko-mat eder patent, which has proved its worth umpteenthousandfold and for decades.
multicontrol devices are nicely shaped, self-contained units with a pleasing design. Theself-supporting construction and housing ensures low sound transmission.
With now four different systems "solo", "duo", "maxi” and „twin” and an increasedexpansion flow range by default, an extended field of application is opened up.
multicontrol devices are intended for a lossless storage of the expansion volume and forpressure maintenance in closed heating and cooling systems according to standardEN12828.
The application range up to a maximum temperature of 110°C (safety temperature limiter)is possible due to additional monitoring measures and the now possible combination withappropriate cooling vessels.
The automatic, economic degassing feature is integrated by default in devices MCM-_1and is based on the principle of pressure drop according to the physical law of Henry.Because of the lowest possible pressure inside the expansion vessel (only 0.5bar) thedegassing works very efficient even in plants with low static pressure.
In any device MCM-_2 ... MCM-_9 a degassing module may be mounted easily and ofcourse also retrofitting it is possible at any time.
Mounting a makeup module is prepared to achieve an amount controlled, litre-accuratefeeding is easily possible. Depending on the makeup amount to be expected there aretwo versions of the makeup module with different dimensions and different maximummakeup flow, both of them also may be retrofit.For a versatile usage its components allow makeup temperatures up to 70°C and may becombined with a water softening.
If there is no appropriate supply pressure of the makeup media, an electrical contact forcontrolling an external feed pump is present by default.
