1. LOG-IN AND EXIT PROGRAM

1.1. Visit to www.phls.gov.bt Public Health Laboratory website for Login

In getting started with Water Quality Monitoring Information System (WQMIS), select WQMIS from System User Login drop down (Figure 1).

User need to login to WQMIS using valid and registered User name & Password by following steps mentioned below:

• Fill-in username and password in the blank

• Then, click Login key for getting started with the system (insert Figure here)

Note: If username & password are correct, the HOME window will be opened (Figure 3)

1.2. How to exit program? a. Click the users profile at the top left of the web page. b. Click “Logout” (shown with arrow in figure 3) to exit the system.

1. Dashboard In this window users can have access to different menus. The functions of the different menus are mentioned in the table 1.

Number Menu Function 1 User Menu With this menu users can view profile, edit profile, change

password and log-out. 2 Dash board Home page of the system where different menus are seen at

the left side of the window. 3 Routine Records Users can add routine records of the samples which are

carried on monthly basis. Users can also view, edit and delete records of their respective sites that are done on monthly basis (PHL users will have overall access).

4 Adhoc Records Users can add records of the samples that are not done on monthly basis. Users can also view, edit and delete records that are not carried on monthly basis.

5 Reports Access to only PHL.

1.1. User menu This menu allows users to view profile, edit profile, change password and log-out as shown in the Figure:- 5.

1.1.1. User Profile (My Profile) With this menu users can view their Profile. On clicking “My Profile”, “View my profile” window will pop up. The users cannot make any change in this menu. Click as shown in figure:- 6 to close “User Profile” window.

1.1.2. Edit Profile (Figure:-….) With this menu users can edit their profiles

-Users can change their names, email address and mobile numbers in this menu. However they cannot edit User name, Access level and reporting centre.

1.2. Dash Board -Home page where users can have access to different menus of the system.(refer to Figure:-4 for details)

1.3. Routine Records Click Routine records menu to get access to Routine data entry. This menu will be used for adding data of routine drinking water quality monitoring records which are carried out on a monthly basis. The page shows summary table of all the records that are registered in the system. Users can view the report, edit record, delete records and add test results by using the respective keys as shown in figure:- 5 and 6.

1.3.1. Keys and their functions under Routine records Sl. No Key Function

1 View Report This key will only view reports of the data that are registered in the system. However users cannot edit data using this key (use edit report key to edit data)

2 Edit report Users can edit their previous data. (This key is accessible only to ACL 1 and ACL 3 users)

3 Delete report Users can delete report using this key (Only ACL1 and ACL3 has access to it)

4 Add test result Users can add test results for the samples which are carried out in monthly basis. (Only ACL1 and ACL 3 has access to it)

*NOTE: ACL1=System Administrator, ACL2=PHL Staff at WQTL, ACL3=District Laboratory Staffs, ACL4=District Focal Person. ACL5=Stakeholdwes/others.

1.3.2. How to add test result for Routine records? To register new routine records follow the following steps

1. Click “ADD TEST RESULT” key (Figure6-Key 4), the program will open the window of “water record entry form” (Figure7).

2. Fill the sample details and the results in their respective space 3. Then click “SAVE ROUTINE RECORDS” (Figure 8) to register data into the system.

1.4. Adhoc Records If the samples other than routine samples are collected, they will be registered under Adhoc records menu (Figure:11). Use following steps to register for Adhoc records:-

1. Click on Adhoc records menu, the page shows summary table of all the records that are registered in the system (only if adhoc records are registered).

2. Users can view the report, edit record, delete records and add test results by using the respective keys as shown in figure:- and .

1.4.2. How to add test result for Adhoc records? To register new Adhoc samples use following steps:-

1. Click at “ADD TEST RESULT” key (Figure12- key 4), the program will open the window of “Sample/s & Parameter Details page” (Figure7).

2. Select the parameters and the number of parameters that user intend to include. 3. Click proceed/reset key. 4. Water record entry form will appear in the same page (figure:14). 5. Fill the sample details and the results in their respective space and then click “SAVE

ROUTINE RECORDS” (Figure 8) to register data into the system.
