Short description from the host organization
Waldorf education is a humanistic approach to pedagogy based on the edu-cational philosophy of the Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy. The pedagogy emphasizes the role of imagination in learn-ing, striving to integrate holistically the intellectual, practical, and artistic de-velopment of pupils. The early childhood education is focuses on practical, hands-on activities and creative play; to elementary education, which focuses on developing artistic expression and social capacities. The kindergarten was open at 2008 from a parent’s initiative. There are 18 children between three and six years and a group with six children up to two years.

other - accommodation probably in a own flat in Görlitz or a host family- the mentor in the Kindergarten is speaking Czech- Görlitz is a nice attractive old city direct at the German-Polish border- by train to next Czech large city Liberec needs about 1,5 hours, to Dresden about 1:15 hours and you can reach Berlin in 2:40 hours
