Attitudes of Arabic language teachers towards using the active discussion strategy in teaching preparatory stage in Karbala Governorate Dr. Dhurgham, A, oraibi Al-Khalidi Dr. Jawad, D, Diwan Muslim [email protected] Abstract The study aimed to identify the attitudes of Arabic language teachers in the preparatory stage towards the use of an active discussion strategy in teaching in the holy Karbala governorate, and the researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach, so the study sample consisted of all members of the study population of (229) teachers and schools with (124) for males, and (105) females, The two researchers developed a trend-oriented measure, whose sincerity and reliability were confirmed, and it consists of (30) paragraphs, distributed in three areas. The results of the research showed negative trends towards the use of active discussion in the teaching of the Arabic language, and the presence of statistical differences attributable to the variables of sex and experience, in favor of the female category, and the level of experience, respectively. The researchers also reached a set of conclusions. Keywords: trends, active discussion strategy.
