running of beverages line, (500Lph), canning line, Honey processing line 50-100 kg/hr)

Makhana processing line (25-50 kg/hr) for three years. For ripening, pre cooling, CA/MA

and cold storage 10 MT capacity PUF insulation with all necessary accessories including

ethylene generator, humidifier etc. for ripening chamber.

Boiler design and system should tolerate a higher degree of hardness in water.

Note: This processing line is based on a turnkey project. Only turnkey project will be accepted. Individual items under this turnkey project will not be acceptable. The vendor should quote FOR price for BAC, Sabour including all charges (cost of equipments, packaging cost, transportation cost, applicable taxes and installation charges etc.). Any extra cost or taxes will not be acceptable if claimed by the supplier other than the quoted price.

Necessarily provide compliance report in soft copy (Pen drive). The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations received in this connection

without assigning any reason what so ever. Equipments with similar specification may be considered.

The tenderer /manufacture should have set up at least 5 projects on turnkey basis in past 3 years in the same line. Bonafide registration with DIC/sales tax /excise departments confirming the registration of the tenderer as a manufacturer would be needed to be submitted as a prove.

No EMD is required to be deposit if deposited in earlier tender i.e. tender notice no. No. 56 /B.A.C., Sabour dated 29/01/2016 and /or No.88/BAC, Sabour dated 02/3/2016. However, tender cost of Rs 500 (Five hundred only) non refundable is required to be deposited against each turn- key project along with technical bid.

Both technical and financial bid of turnkey project should be submitted in separate envelop and clearly mention tender for turnkey project number and name on the envelop in bold letters and attach tender cost Rs 500.0 in technical bid.

Mandatory Requirements: Supporting documents for all international approvals to be attached with offer. The supplier should have the provision for maintenance after the expiry of the

Brief Description of the Work

The details of the required processing lines are as follows which is to be mentioned in the bids:

1. Setting-up of the Fully/SemiAutomatic Beverage Line (Capacity: 500L/hr) and Canning line5-7 MT/day) starting from preliminary processing of raw material to PET Bottle Packaging (including CIP system attachment) with the accessory equipments such as PET bottle blowing-moulding machine, fruit and vegetable washer, automatic bottle rinser, fruit peeler, de stoner and pulper, fruit/vegetable crusher etc. and all related machineries (list of macheneries to complete a line are provided on the web site (www.bausabour.ac.in). Tenderers/bidders may add any specific machine for the line if missing in the list and necessary for the line on the basis of required capacity as additional.

2. Setting-up of the Automatic/Semi automaticHoney Processing Line (Capacity: 50-100Kg/hr) starting from moisture reduction facilities with automatic bottling machine. The list of necessary machineries are provided on the web site (www.bausabour.ac.in). Tenderers/bidders may add any specific machine for the line and honey quality testing machine if missing in the list and necessary for the line on the basis of required capacity.

3. Setting-up of the Automatic/Semi automaticMakhana Processing Line ((25-50 kg/hr) starting from raw material primary processing like washing/rinsing etc. The list of necessary machineries is provided on the web site (www.bausabour.ac.in). Tenderers/bidder may add any specific machine for the line if missing in the list and necessary for the line on the basis of required capacity

4. Establishment of ripening, pre cooling and cold chamber. For detail see the web site (www.bausabour.ac.in)

5. All equipments/line (turnkey projects) must be supported by necessary accessories where required.

2. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is required for each instrument above Fifty thousand to Five lakh @ 5% of the actual cost and above five lakh @ 2%. Below Fifty thousand and above thirty thousand, EMD applicable will be @ 10% on actual cost basis. Below thirty thousand no EMD is required.

3. In case of turnkey project, EMD amount would be @ 2% on each turnkey project.4. In case of imported items, all the necessary approval will be furnished by authorized

dealer or supplier and transport from clearing airport to BAU will be carried out by the supplier. Customer will accept only FOR price at BAU, Sabour.

5. EMD will be acceptable in the form of crossed Demand Draft from a commercial bank in favour of the Principal , BAC, Sabour.

6. No fresh EMD is required to deposit by the bidders for the same item if submitted their tenders against the earlier tender notices i.e. No. 56 /B.A.C., Sabour dated -29/01/2016 and no. 88/BAC, Sabour dated 02/03/2106. However, tender cost of Rs 500 (Five hundred only) non refundable is required to deposit. Without tender cost, tender will not be acceptable and tender cost must be included in technical bid only

7. Firms having proprietary items can also apply. For proprietary items, firm attached a certificate for proof and without a certificate, the claim for proprietary item will not be considered.

8. The firm should have an annual turnover of at least 5-10 Crores for beverage line/canning/honey processing separately or altogather

9. Firms should at least have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the installation and/or manufacturing of Food Process equipment.

10. The successful bidders for turnkey projects should deliver a power point presentation for the respective turnkey project in front of competitive authority and expert for final work/Supply order.

11. Performance Security: The successful bidder will have to submit a Performance security of equivalentto 5-10% of the Contract /Order value before or after the issue of award letter as per the laws of BAU, Sabour. The validity of performance security valid till 60 days + the period of expiry of the Warranty/Guarantee period in shape of crossed Demand Draft/Pay order/Fixed Deposit Receipt/Bank Guarantee from a commercial bank in favour of the Principal , BAC, Sabour

12. Liquidated Damages: In case the firm does not complete the supply within the laid down & agreed, security delivery period as per contract, liquidated damages will be charged @ 0.5% per week or part thereof subject to a maximum of 10% of the contract value. However, the Institute reserves the right to either further extend or cancel the contract after expiry of delivery date and recover the liquidated damages from the dues of the firm or by legal means.

13. The equipments to be supplied by the firm should be branded or equivalent match with the specification and meet the quality standard and as per Food Law Norms. Only high quality branded equipments will be accepted. Low grade equipments will not be acceptable.

14. Firms should have experience in establishing and handling of turnkey project in the reputed organizations. That firm will be given preference.

15. The firm will be responsible to run the respective line to be set-up for at least three years (turnkey project) before handed over to the parent organization or on the basis of mutual agreement.

16. The set-up line and equipment should have a warranty of at least 3 Years and company should be responsible for wear and tear and malfunctioning under the specified period.

17. After the warranty period, the firm should also provide AMC for 5 Years.18. All the equipments will be FOR at BAC, Sabour, Bhagalpur. The For price should

include all costs (cost of equipments, packaging, transportation, all type of taxes, installation charges etc.).

19. Tender document may be obtained during working hours from the department of Food Science and Postharvest Technology, BAC, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar-813210 on payment of non refundable tender cost of Rs.500.00 (Rs. Five Hundred Only) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Principal, BAC, Sabouralong with an application on firm’s letter head.

20. The tender documents may also be downloaded from the website: www.bausabour.ac.in and may be submitted along with the tender cost of Rs.500.00 only in the form of Demand Draft as mentioned above and should be enclosed with desired amount of EMD. EMD would be accepted in the shape of DD. Non submission of EMD will cause rejection of the tender. All the bidders are required to enclose self-addressed (Rs. 35.00) stamped envelope. In case the date mentioned above is declared Government Holiday, the date shall automatically be shifted to next working day. Offers received within the stipulated period only will be considered. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay. Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in part or full without assigning any reason thereof.

21. This Institute/College/Principal, BAC, Sabour reserves the right to cancel/ reject in full or any part of the tender, which generally does not fulfill the condition stipulated in the tender without assigning any reason.

22. Any action on the part of tenderer/bidder to influence anybody of the Institute/College will make his/their tender liable for rejection.

23. The competent authority is not bound to accept the lowest or any other quotation and reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations received in this connection without assigning any reason what so ever. Equipments with similar specification may be considered.
