2020 GUIDELINES

ABOUT THE VICE-CHANCELLOR’S AWARDS At Victoria University, we have a powerful moral purpose: to transform the lives of students and communities (in partnership with our students and communities). This has led us to identify the VU values as being always welcoming, always ethical, always shaping the future, and always together – always WEST.

2020 has been difficult for everyone, but with disruption comes innovation. The COVID-19 pandemic created many challenges, and we were only able to respond to these challenges because of the dedication, expertise and hard work of our staff. This should be commended and makes this year’s awards particularly important.

The Vice-Chancellor's Awards are one way that I can formally recognise the exceptional practice and outstanding contributions of individuals and teams to Victoria University, and beyond.

Importantly, many of the Award categories map through to National Awards giving individuals and teams the opportunity to showcase the great innovation and work that is being undertaken on the national stage.

Please join me in acknowledging and celebrating our wonderful staff by nominating yourself or a colleague for an Award of Excellence.
