Why Rubrics Likert Scale

Many benefits Problems

Very subjective No standards, no point

of reference E.g. Fair attendance

can mean 20% or 80% absence

Rubrics to Help: Add objectivity, point of

reference Add standards,

expectations, fairness E.g. Fair attendance is

Student Evaluation:

Attendance: 1= Poor, 2= Fair, 3= Good

Questions: 1= Poor, 2= Fair, 3= Good

Build a Simple Rubric Go to http://www.iRubric.com. Become a faculty member.

1. Select rubrics from top menu.

2. Select Build from sub menu.

3. Click on Start from Option A.
