    Section 1: Basics of Viewpoint 2.0

    Logging into Viewpoint 2.0

    These steps will show you how to access your Viewpoint 2.0 account.

    1. Enter https://vp.translogisticsinc.com/ into your preferred web browser 2. Enter your login credentials 3. Click on the Log In button Note: Save the URL down in your favorites bar for quick access. Please ensure you are saving the www.vp.translogisticsinc.com URL. There is a redirect URL that will be saved if you just click “Add to Bookmark”. For further details on this, please contact your TLI Sales Rep / Account Manager.

    Overview of Viewpoint

    This section will go over the basic Viewpoint 2.0 button layout that will be provided throughout all modules of the system. See full Description below:

    A. Navigation Bar – used to navigate through different modules of Viewpoint 2.0 B. Collapse/Expand – click this chevron to collapse or expand the Navigation Bar C.     Reset Your Password

    Follow these steps to recover your Viewpoint 2.0 account after multiple failed login attempts or if you forget your password.

    1. Enter www.vp.translogisticsinc.com into your web browser 2. Click “Forget Password” link

    3. Enter your email address associated with Viewpoint 2.0 4. Click the Submit button 5. Check your email for instructions on how to reset password from [email protected] 6. If you are still having issues, contact your TLI Sales Rep or Account Manager for IT Help

    Create a New User in Viewpoint 2.0

    These steps will show you how to create new users to allow access for additional team members in Viewpoint 2.0.

    1. Enter www.vp.translogisticsinc.com into your web browser 2. Click on “Sign Up” at underneath “Log In”

    3. Enter your new account information 4. Click on “Sign Up” 5. Wait for your TLI Sales Rep / Account Manager to activate your account

    How to Change your Account Information

    These steps will show you how to change your account information including your VP Display Name, Email Address on file, Phone Number, and your password. Follow these steps:

    1. Click on “Hello, [Your Name]” to bring down the settings navigation 2. Click on the Profile button

    3. Update your information 4. Click Update Profile

    How to Change your Start Up Module (Home Screen)

    Viewpoint 2.0 allows you to customize what screen will be defaulted upon log in. Follow these steps to modify which Module will be displayed upon logging in.

    1. Click on “Hello, [Your Name]” to bring down the settings navigation 2. Click on the Profile button (As seen above) 3. Go to Application Settings Section 4. Click Startup Module Drop Down

    5. Select your desired Start Up Module 6. Click Update Profile

    How to Navigate Through Enterprise Levels in Viewpoint 2.0

    Enterprise levels help TLI customers keep track of shipments at a company level. If you have multiple locations or companies under an umbrella, you may have more than one Enterprise Level. The top Enterprise Level will be the Analysis level, shown as “Company – Analysis”. It is very important to be under the correct enterprise level when scheduling shipments for specific shipping instructions and for contracts to specific locations/companies. Learn how to navigate to a different enterprise level below:

    1. Click on Change at the top left corner of the screen where you see the Enterprise Level

    2. Select the down arrow from your current Enterprise Level to reveal other Enterprise Levels

    3. Click on the appropriate Enterprise Level 4. Verify that the correct Enterprise Level is shown at the top left corner

    Note: It’s very important to do work under the correct Enterprise Level for proper quotation and data.

    How to Use the Integrated Search Bar

    The integrated Search Bar will allow you to find shipments easily. This feature is located at the top of the screen. Follow these directions to find a shipment using the Integrated Search Bar.

    1. Click on the Integrated Search Bar

    2. Type a reference number that is on the shipment. (Examples: BOL#, PO#, SO#, PRO Number, etc) 3. Click on the specific shipment that you are looking for

    Note: The Integrated Search bar can help you find shipments up to five years ago.

    Section 2: Scheduling Shipments in Viewpoint 2.0

    Overview of Schedule Shipment Module

    This section will go over the overview and layout of Viewpoint 2.0 Schedule Shipment Module. Schedule Shipment Screen

    A. Shipment Mode – Navigate between what kind of mode you will be shipping with B. Box Section – there are 8 sections to take you through scheduling a shipment C. Information Input – Use this box in each section to fill out the requested shipping information D. Checklist – Use this checklist to see what sections you haven’t completed; Green = Done, Blue = unfinished E. Density Calculator – A built in density calculator that automatically updates as you add item

    A. Bill of Lading – This will show you the preview of your BOL. B. CS Chat Box – Reach out to our customer service department in this box. C. Shipment Tag – Receive automatic updates on the shipment; Separate emails by “;” D. Document Generation – Used to create your shipping documents

    How to Schedule a Shipment

    Below will give you step by step instructions on scheduling a shipment in Viewpoint 2.0. Please ensure that you have all needed information needed to book, including contact name, number, and email for the shipment.

    1. Verify that the correct enterprise level is selected 2. Click the Schedule Shipment button at the top left of the screen 3. Enter the Pickup and Destination information in Box 1: Addresses section

    a. If you already have the location saved, use the magnifying glass to pull that location

    b. Be sure to have contact information at pickup and delivery including number and email

    4. Enter your item details. Start with Weight, Quantity, Handling Unit, and Dimensions. Once entered, click the Magnifying Glass to find your products based on density

    5. Add additional items needed by clicking the + button in the top right of the Items Box 6. Select any additional services needed for shipment in Section 3: What Services Are Required? 7. Click Fetch Rate to pull dynamic, real time rates above Section 5: Select Your Rate 8. Select your preferred carrier based on cost, transit, mode, etc.

    a. When looking at rates, use the cheat sheet below for the Service Column 9. Enter any references needed in the reference box (Example: PO Numbers)

    a. To Add additional references, click the + button in the top right corner 10. Change the BOL Instructions if needed; If not, skip to step 11 11. Click to check mark the box to agree to TLI’s terms and conditions 12. Click Book Shipment 13. Download your printing documents once the next screen loads

    Note: The checklist on the right-hand side is a great tool to use while scheduling shipments. Once all of the items are marked green, that means the shipment is good to book. If marked blue, you will need to finish that section before booking.

    How to Save a Shipment as a Quote

    Below will teach a Viewpoint user how to save a shipment as a Quote in Viewpoint 2.0. This will be used when a shipment is not quite ready to book yet, but you need to come back to save the shipment. Follow the instructions below:

    1. Verify that the correct enterprise level is selected; Click on Quick Rate on the left-hand side 2. Click the Schedule Shipment button at the top left of the screen 3. Enter the Pickup and Destination information in Box 1: Addresses section

    a. If you already have the location saved, use the magnifying glass to pull that location

    b. Be sure to have contact information at pickup and delivery including number and email

    4. Enter the weight, quantity, handling unit, and dimensions of your product in Box 2: Items section

    5. Click the Magnifying Glass and select your product shipping in Box 2: Items Section

    a. Note: This will automatically select your class by density for the given product b. If you need additional items, select the + sign and repeat steps 3 - 4

    6. Select any additional services needed for shipment in Section 3: What Services Are Required? 7. Click Fetch Rate to pull dynamic, real time rates above Section 5: Select Your Rate 8. Select your preferred carrier based on cost, transit, mode, etc.

    Using Quick Rate for a Future Shipment

    Quick Rate is a great tool to use when you do not have all the details of the shipment. The tool will allow for you and the team to get an estimated quote for the shipment with the information provided. Use these steps below to use the quick quote module:

    1. Verify that the correct enterprise level is selected 2. Click on Quick Rate on the left-hand side 3. Enter the Pickup and Destination Zip Codes and the Ship Date in Box 1: Addresses section 4. Enter the weight, quantity, handling unit, and dimensions of your product in Box 2: Items section 5. Click the Magnifying Glass and select your product shipping in Box 2: Items Section

    a. Note: This will automatically select your class by density for the given product b. If you need additional items, select the + sign and repeat steps 3 - 4

    6. Select any services needed for the shipment under Box 3: What Services are Required? 7. Click the Re-Rate button at the bottom of the screen to populate the rates 8. Select the desired rate based on carrier, transit, mode, etc. 9. Click on Print to give the desired quote to the desired party

    Note: These rates are based on the information provided and time that the quote was rated. Please ensure all shipment details are accurate for proper quotation.

    Adding an Item to a Shipment Based on Class

    This section will take you through selecting the correct class for density-based items. In order to avoid reweights, TLI has already populated your commodities into VP 2.0 to ensure proper classification. Follow the steps below to correctly add items to your shipments:

    1. Go to Box 2: Items of Schedule a Shipment or Quick Rate modules 2. Enter your Items information (Weight, Quantity, Handling Unit, and Dimensions) 3. Click the Magnifying Glass in the top right corner

    4. Select the Item from the pop-up window by checking the box of the item on the left

    5. Click Select Item button

    Note: If you do not see the product listed, please reach out to your TLI Sales Rep or Account Manager to have this item added for you. Please ensure to be as descriptive as possible so our Audit team can provide the best NMFC/Freight Class for you.

    Saving a Location for Future Use

    You may have some reoccurring customers / locations you ship to. Follow these steps to save down these locations:

    1. Go to Schedule Shipment 2. Enter the location details 3. Click Save Location

    Making Changes to a Saved Location

    This section will take you through making changes to already saved locations in Viewpoint 2.0. Follow these steps:

    1. Go to Schedule Shipment 2. Locate your location using the magnifying glass

    3. Modify the location details 4. Click Save Location

    Viewing List of Saved Locations

    This section will show you where to find a list of your previously saved locations. In order to view these locations, you must be granted permissions to have the Maintenance module tab. Follow these steps:

    How to Print Your Shipping Documents

    This section will show you how to print your shipping documents outside of the initial booking of the shipment. To print shipping documents, follow these steps below:

    1. Go to your shipment via searching in the Integrated Search Bar or in the Tracking Module 2. Click on the Actions tab of the Shipment 3. Check mark which shipping documents you need (IE: BOL, Pallet labels, etc) 4. Click Generate

    How to Switch Between 4x6 and Half Page Pallet Labels

    TLI provides you with the option of 4” x 6” or half page pallet labels. To switch between the two, please follow these steps below:

    1. Click on “Hello, [Your Name]” tab in the upper right corner 2. Click on the Settings Tab 3. Click on the Printer tab in the settings 4. Select your option in the drop-down menu 5. Click Submit

    How to Fix Error for Printing Multiple Documents

    If you are having issues with printing multiple documents, you may need to adjust the browser’s pop up blocker. To do so, please follow these steps:

    1. Select Multiple Shipments to print on your next shipment 2. Hit the Generate Button 3. Click on the Ad-Block Popper Icon 4. Select “Always allow pop-ups and redirects from http://vp.translogisticsinc.com” 5. Click Submit

    Note: This was demonstrated on Google Chrome and on shipment details page. You can also perform this after scheduling a shipment.

    Section 3: Tracking Shipments in Viewpoint 2.0

    Overview of Tracking Module

    This section will go over the overview of the tracking module. You will find the user interface below for both the grid and map view of the tracking porals.

    A. View Change – Toggle between the Map View and the Grid View using these two Icons B. Calendar Filter – Used to filter out shipments by date C. Shipment Status Filter – Filter out your shipments based on the status: Active, Delivered, Quotes D. Refresh – Refresh to see any updates that have been made to shipments E. Export Report – Export the data as an excel document using the current filters F. Saved Filters – Filter through your saved filters such as by carrier, consignee, etc. G. Applied Filters – Filters that are being used will be shown here. Take off filters here as well. H. Data – This is where you will find all the shipments data in a table format I. Color Key – This shows the color key for each kind of shipment moving on the map

    How to Track a Shipment

    This section will teach you how to track a shipment. You can get to a shipment in three ways:

    Integrated Search: 1. Type your shipment in the Integrated Search Bar 2. Click on your shipment

    3. Click on the History tab to check shipment’s tracking

    Grid View: 1. Find your shipment in the Grid View 2. Click on your shipment

    3. Click on the History tab to check shipment’s tracking

    Map View: 1. Find your shipment on the map 2. Click on one of the two locations for the shipment 3. Select the shipment

    Communicating with TLI Customer Service Through Viewpoint

    Viewpoint 2.0 offers a direct line of communication with our operations team. If you need to send specific details of a shipment that does not require immediate assistance, follow these steps:

    1. Search for your shipment in the Integrated Search Bar or Tracking Module 2. Click the Actions Tab 3. Type your message for Customer Service and click Send 4. Customer Service will review your message

    Note: This can be done after booking a shipment as well. On the print documents screen, you can communicate to CS on the right-hand side.

    How to Sign Up to Receive Tracking Updates

    You may want to receive updates through the shipment. These updates can be automatically generated for you and you can subscribe as many emails as possible. Follow these steps below:

    1. Find the Shipment Using Integrated Search function or finding it in the Tracking Module 2. Click on the Shipment you’d like to receive Tracking Updates for 3. Go to the Actions Tab of the shipment 4. Enter the email address that needs updates (To keep adding additional users, click outside of the box once

    completed with each email address and re-click the box to add another) 5. Click Save
