The National Association of REALTORS® and realtor.com® launch first joint campaign to drive consumer awareness

Last month, realtor.com® and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) announced

that they are reaching out to consumers like never before – with one voice.

Beginning this summer, the collaboration includes a significant marketing commitment from both the

National Association of REALTORS® and realtor.com®. The national television and radio advertising is geared

to drive consumer awareness of the value that REALTORS® and realtor.com® each bring to the real estate

transaction, and to educate consumers about the most important issues that could affect their ability to buy,

sell or invest in real estate.

“REALTOR® is the most trusted brand in real estate, and realtor.com® represents the best of our profession,

with a commitment to accuracy, timeliness and professionalism that no other brand can match,” said the

National Association of REALTORS® president Steve Brown. “While others applaud themselves for simply

talking about the issues, REALTORS® actually take action to protect consumers’ interests. We invite

consumers to join us in these efforts, and are excited about the opportunities ahead. Working together,

REALTORS® and realtor.com® will continue to make ‘home happen’ in every sense of that vision.”

New features & some refreshers

NEW County search results pages – Consumers can now search realtor.com® listings by county! Similar to the city search, users can now receive listing results by county. This is especially useful when searching for “land” listings which may require larger area limits than just a city boundary. Users can also add acreage to their search using the “advanced” search feature. Try it for yourself. Visit: realtor.com.

Preferred member pricing – REALTORS® receive up to a 20% savings over non-members forShowcaseSM subscriptions.

Realtor.com® adds member name to listings – Now, every active listing on realtor.com® will include both the brokerage firm name as well as the listing agent’s name. REALTORS® will uniquely enjoy the added benefit of a hyperlink from the listing to their profile in the Find a REALTOR® directory – enabling consumers to learn more about the member’s background, certifications, designations and areas of specialty, and include their office and personal contact information. If your member’s haven’t done so already, they can claim their profile on realtor.com® here: realtor.com/profile.

Differentiating REALTOR® listings on realtor.com® - The block “R” on realtor.com® listings is available to all REALTORS® on realtor.com®. This clearly distinguishes listings as provided by a REALTOR®. To activate this, REALTORS® must claim their profile and add their NRDS ID. Realtor.com® continues to reinforce the value of using a REALTOR® when buying, selling or investing in real estate. New features & some refreshers

New ‘Doorsteps Swipe’ App, powered by realtor.com® - Recently, Doorsteps.com, operated by Move, Inc.,

launched its first app for iPhone® and iPod® touch. The app provides a free and easy way for potential home

buyers to collect homes that appeal to them. A user who wishes to view complete listing details on any

property will arrive at the listing detail page on realtor.com®.

Mobile School Search - School is in session. Realtor.com® was a pioneer in providing search-by-school

functionality in our iOS and AndroidTM apps. Home buyers are able to see school and district boundaries on a

map, search for homes for sale assigned to a school or school district, and see which schools are assigned to

Realtor.com® champions accuracy for consumers with a new integrated advertising campaign

Accuracy in residential listings is vital to home buyers.

To highlight this fact, realtor.com® is launching a

national advertising campaign, Accuracy Matters, to

educate consumers about the importance of relying

on realtor.com® to provide them the most accurate

U.S. residential listings. Set to broadcast nationally

through 2014, Accuracy Matters uses an integrated-

marketing approach including television and digital

advertisements, contests and social media focused on

the hashtag #AccuracyMatters. Additionally,

realtor.com® and the National Association of

REALTORS® are collaborating to educate consumers

about how accurate residential listings ensure a faster

and less stressful search for the perfect home.

“There’s nothing more irritating than finding a home you love during your search and learning that it has

recently been taken off the market or that the price has been updated,” said Barbara O’Connor, Chief

Marketing Officer for Move, Inc. “Accuracy Matters provides us an opportunity to remind home buyers
