This certificate is a requirement for all staff working in the

childcare area under the Government’s Early Care and

Childhood (ECCE scheme). The course will prepare you

to work in a supervised capacity in a childcare facility with

children aged 0-6 years. You must have a genuine interest

in working in the childcare area. The course includes core

skill modules in Personal Effectiveness and Word

Processing.

Participants must participate in 120 hours work

experience and complete a Garda vetting form.
