Affiliate marketing is a form of online marketing and a lot of people use this to make money online with affiliate program.

This is a partner program, where a dealer wants his services on the Internet or makes known products and a possible sale is made.

For this he needs the help of affiliates. This promotion of the product is virtually for the retailer. They do this either by their own website for the product to advertise, or by search advertising to market the product via (Affiliate with SEM). This business generally benefits both sides. The dealer can sell a product through a variety of distribution channels to bring the product to prospective buyers. So many things he need to do,

that he cannot do this alone. The affiliate gets a commission for each sale of the dealer’s product.

But how are successful sales tracked?

It just works. The affiliate will receive after he signed up for the affiliate program a special link from the dealer. This link contains the unique identification number of the affiliate. This link binds the affiliate's Web site. This can happen, for example, by having a link to the product image or text link with a copy for the product. Once an interested visitor clicks a link that he gets on the side of the partner merchant, he can buy the product. By an affiliate cookie, which is the identification number of the site, is sent to the dealer. So it is clearly understandable that the customer was able to buy through his website.

A small example of the affiliate-marketing

Make money with affiliate programs is easy; take for example Mister X, who has a website on which he has an article on running, jogging and recreational sports. He wants to make money with his website. This could be the sale of jogging shoes, work out with, which he describes on his side and is evaluated. So he looks for a partner-shop in the range of jogging shoes. Mister X will either search "affiliate program running shoes" in Google or by typing one of the many brokers Exchanges for affiliate programs. The links that Mister X has is replaced by his shop partner, to where he links his Web site to. From now on

every visitor that clicks the link is counted and if shoes are purchased, then Mr. X will get a percentage of the profit.

One must however keep in mind that always the last visited partners’ link is the successful sale / placement, etc. Once is enough. This means that a previously stored cookie is overwritten.
