  • A Call to Action: Women of Tocqueville Womens Leadership Breakfast President Jimmy Carter served as keynote for United Way of Greater Atlantas Womens Leadership Breakfast. President Carter highlighted his current book A Call to Action: Women, Violence, Religion and Power. There, he discussed human sex trafficking and identifies Atlanta as a national hub. In direct response to President Carters Call to Action, United Way of Greater Atlanta identified the need to begin working to strengthen efforts toward addressing human trafficking. 4

  • Current Investment Current Investment - youthSpark The Voices Project works in collaboration with Fulton County Juvenile Court and provides direct service prevention for girls at high risk of being trafficked. Additional Support In direct support through City of Refuge, YWCA of Greater Atlanta, Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, Covenant House Georgia, and CHRIS Kids Indirect Support United Way invests in scores of programs that provide protective and preventative services to youth and their families. 5
