What it is? and Difference

It is what happen in the past which are separate from now and they are end it:TO BE verb:Affirmative: I wasYou wereHe wasShe wasIt wasWe wereThey were

NOTE:We use last week a year ago in December etc, referring to time completely in the past.

Negative:I was not/ wasn’tYou were not/ weren’tHe was not/ wasn’tShe was not/ wasn’t /It was not/ wasn’tWe were not/ weren’tThey were not/ weren’t

We use the present perfect simple to connect the past and now.

We use words like for since, just already and yet:

Example:I have had a special friend since we were born.

Tell Tell is usually followed by a person (the listener):

He told me about his family. (NOTNOT: He told about his family)

SaySay is not followed by a person:

My mum said that I can go.(NOT: NOT: My mum said me that I can go)

If we want to add a listener, we can sometimes use say something to someone:Did she saysay anything to you to you about it?
