Logon to Ubuntu 1 .Now go to Dash and searchfor 'Samba' then open it.



When Samba Server on!guration open" lic# on 'Add+' button than clic# on browse $home >select user.



Now go to ' Access' tab and select usernamefrom which %ou want to access sharing.



Now set password on %our selected username for sambasharing. &nter following command to set passwordchange noobslab with %our selected username(.



Now right clic# on Folder which %ou want to

share on networ#" than select 'Sharing Options'



)ere is Folder Sharing options" *ou can chooseand write whatever %ou want to do. +han clic#on 'Create Share'



,fter that" logon to Ubuntu - and select

Applications –> Ubuntu Software Center.



+hen search for and install Samba



,fter installing" go to System –>

Administration –> Samba.



+hen select ‘ Preferences –> Server Settings’



+hen t%pe ‘or!group’ name to match theone %ou con!gured for Windows /0 and clic# Apply.



estart both computers and %ou should be able

to see and access !les from either computer.
