Class of 1964 Wellesley, MA June 14, 2014 With this talk I would like to synopsize my discoveries over the past 30 years that have led to a broad-based vision of the unfolding of Peace on Earth and the relevance of Trust, Providence, Pilgrims, Indians and the American Dream to the future in a way that is relevant to your lives. At Dana Hall I did not resonate to the mold I was being encouraged to adopt. I chose not to fit in to what I sensed was a world-out-of-balance. I was descended from visionary philanthropic governors, mayors and legislators who had a high vision for humanity, who acted from their hearts in political office and gave away the family fortune to the people of Maine in the form of parks, mountain, libraries and schools. I later discovered I am descended from John and Priscilla Alden and Priscilla’s parents William and Alice Mullins who came to America on the Mayflower in 1620 seeking to establish a society based upon freedom of conscience. Something, someone, was driving me to find a better way. I am an all-American girl. My family believed in America and the ideals it stands for. I see very big pictures. I ask questions like “What is missing in the prevailing paradigm that has humanity out of balance.” The answers you get depend upon the questions you ask and the answers to that question have driven the unfolding of my life. With this talk I would like to synopsize my discoveries over the past 30 years that have led to a broad-based vision of the unfolding of Peace on Earth and the relevance of Trust, Providence, Pilgrims, Indians and the American Dream to the future in a way that is relevant to your lives.

At Dana Hall I did not resonate to the mold I was being encouraged to adopt. I chose not to fit in to what I sensed was a world-out-of-balance. I was descended from visionary philanthropic governors, mayors and legislators who had a high vision for humanity, who acted from their hearts in political office and gave away the family fortune to the people of Maine in the form of parks, mountain, libraries and schools. I ask questions like “What is missing in the prevailing paradigm that has humanity out of balance.” The answers you get depend upon the questions you ask and the answers to that question have driven the unfolding of my life.

The biggest picture I see is the release of the love in the human heart transforming all of Creation. Far from being a plague destroying the Earth as environmentalists characterize humanity, I see every human as the crown-jewel of Creation who is a facet of the Divine playing out every possible emotion and behavior as a means through which this energy of Unconditional Love many call “God” comes to understand Itself.

My life became an odyssey of discovery as I chose to align with my intuition and live a “spirit-guided” life, going where the brave dare not go – in my thinking and in the day-to-day choices I made. Don’t ask the question if you don’t want the answers! In 1976 I discovered Native American cosmology – an expanded vision of the nature of reality, a pathway to the heart with important missing pieces of the Western paradigm. Over the next 30 years visionary Native American elders were to come into my life and show me clues to understanding the conscious, loving, abundant nature of the universe through their way of life and experiences. I took my children to the jungles of the Maya in Chiapas, Mexico and they grew up with Lakota, Ute, Pueblo, Hopi and Wabanaki in their lives. I discovered a trust-based paradigm where “the giveaway” prevails and hoarding/saving is antithetical to

life in an abundant universe. Quite contrary to the fundamental assumptions and behaviors of our culture, but aligned with my family’s predilection for giving away the farm!

Subsequently I came to understand that there were other key players in the human story with a trust-based or Providence-based paradigm: The Mayflower Pilgrims who committed their lives to living according to the 1606 Covenant they made in Scrooby, England: “To walk in all His ways made known … unto them, according to their best endeavors, whatsoever it should cost them, the Lord assisting them.” They defied the absolute reign of King James, whose edict required attendance at the Church of England, and initiated the separation of church and state and the move from monarchy to democracy that was to become the United States. Through an equally demanding and visionary act America’s Founding Fathers and the drafters of the United States Constitution articulately expressed a life driven by vision and guidance from a higher power in the Declaration of Independence: “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

In 1998, as I helped my cousin pack up the family home in Braintree, MA I came upon The Mayflower Compact and an article for The Boston Globe written by my Great Grandfather, spokesman for Mayflower Descendants, on The Role of the Pilgrim in our National Character in a trunk in the basement. The Native Americans were claiming that The Great Law of the Iroquois was the foundation of the US Constitution, but The Mayflower Compact, written in the cabin of the Mayflower before the Pilgrims landed on the shores of Cape Cod, is a declaration of self-determination and consent of the governed. It is the evolution toward the fundamental desire of humanity to be free that brought the English settlers together with the American Indian for a process that has taken 400 years to come to fruition.

It was the subsequent discovery of the inspiring 50 years of peace and friendship in Plymouth between the Pilgrims and the Indians that allowed me to see the uniquely American vision for humanity that The Mayflower Compact, The Great Law of the Iroquois, The Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution shared. These are threads of trust, Providence, Pilgrims and Indians in the tapestry that was to become The American Dream: liberty, justice and abundance for all.

But what happened? Fear and doubt replaced trust in a higher purpose and power. The high vision that the Pilgrims, the Indians and the Founders of America had for humanity soon gave way to greed, power and amassing material wealth for the few.

To realize the essence of the true American Dream we must regain our trust and live the creeds that we all carry in our pockets everyday: E Pluribus Unum (From Many, One) and “In God We Trust” which are emblazoned on the unit of exchange that has led to our deepest challenges – the United States dollar.

How do we do that? The good thing is that science is beginning to uncover a rational basis of the cosmology of the indigenous people and show that we live in a conscious, living, interconnected universe. My partner, Andrew Cameron Bailey and I have written a book

“THE TRUST FREQUENCY: Ten Assumptions for a New Paradigm” in which we bring together quantum science, indigenous cosmology, Eastern and Western mysticism as well as plain common sense to replace out-moded axioms about the nature of the universe with an understanding that we are loved by a conscious loving abundant universe made up of different frequencies where the laws vary according to vibratory level. We give tools for individuals to shift their frequency through personal choice to align with their intuition, knowing that we are on an evolutionary upward spiral and will ultimately bring Peace on Earth.

The choice to move into the Trust Frequency triggers a shift to a higher stateof Being. Once we learn to access this state of peace, love, beauty and abundance, we find ourselves operating at a completely different vibratory rate, where the laws and rules are different. Wisdom, prosperity and enlightenment are the order of the day. How do we get there? We shift our consciousness. How do we do that? We change our minds. It’s that simple. We upgrade our fundamental assumptions about the nature of reality, act according to our inner knowing, and our world changes accordingly. It’s an infinitely more beautiful Universe than we ever suspected. Our book takes us there, right to the heart of it. Since we can choose our own reality, let us create a life of grace and ease, abundance, beauty and balance.

We live in the Now, in a conscious Universe driven by Unconditional Love. The 7As of our consciousness - Awareness, Assumption, Attitude, Attention,

Alignment, Action, Allowing carry specific vibratory frequencies which have their own distinct laws.

They are our requests to the Universe which loves us so much and so unconditionally it gives us everything we ask for.

The Universe wants more for us than we can imagine. Free will enables us to choose our frequency and thus the reality we experience.

The abundant joyful nature of the Universe is available to anyone, anywhere, anytime who chooses The Trust Frequency.
