There will be security on the premises - PAUL PAUL PAUL Lester ‘Buster’ Anderson Lester “Buster” W. Anderson, 61 of East Alton, died Monday, July 27, 2015. A memorial visitation will be from 1 until service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Donald Risley Donald Risley, 90, of the Barry Community Care Center, and formerly of Rural Perry, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015. He was born on July 16, 1925 in Fairmount Township, the son of Ray and Carrie Yakley Risley. He was married to Sarrah Norris Rickords. Donald attended Hopewell School and graduated from Perry High School in 1942. He was a lifelong grain and cat- tle farmer in Fairmount Township. He loved watching baseball and bas- ketball, especially watch- ing his son and grand- sons play. He enjoyed hunting, especially coon hunting, and raised world class Treeing Walker coon- hounds. Donald made many friends and acquain- tances through coonhunt- ing. He was a caring per- son who helped many fam- ily, friends and neighbors. He is survived by one son, David (Barb) Risley, both of rural Perry; two grandsons, Michael (Kaytlin) Risley of Griggsville and Steven Risley of rural Perry; and one great-grandson, Karter Risley of Griggsville. Also surviving are sis- ters, Dorothy Akin and Margaret Webel Smith, both of rural Griggsville, Glenna (Joe) Conkright of rural Baylis; and a brother, Marvin (Erlene) Risley of rural Perry. There are numerous nieces, neph- ews, and cousins that sur- vive. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers-in-law, Donnie Webel, Howard Smith, and Dealas Akin; and one great-nephew, Travis Conkright. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at the Woodland Church. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery. Friends may gather at 10 a.m. just prior to the service. There will be a luncheon following the committal service at the Perry United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s memory to the Woodland Cemetery Association or the North Pike Fire Department. The Airsman-Hires Funeral Chapel in Griggsville is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com. Linda Black Linda Gail (McGlauchlen) Black, 58, of rural Rockport, joined our heavenly father Monday morning, Aug. 3, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family after a year-long battle with cancer. Linda was born April 22, 1957 in Memphis, Tenn., a daughter of Delbert “Mac” and Edna (Harris) McGlauchlen. She married Dale Black on March 8, 1992 at the First Presbyterian Church in Quincy. Linda was a gradu- ate of Quincy Senior High School. She attended Western Illinois University in Macomb and received her bachelor’s degree from Quincy University. Linda was hard work- ing and wore many hats in her lifetime. Many who knew her well can recall fondly upon their memo- ries of her dedication and service at the Lighthouse Inn. Recently, when she retired from being the chief financial officer for Black Construction in Rockport, she and Dale enjoyed win- tering in the Texas Gulf Coast area in their RV. She loved being near the water and spending time on the beach. Throughout their adventures in life, she made world-wide friends, rarely met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Her great - est joys were her family. She was a proud mother, a wonderful wife, an amaz- ing daughter, a second mother to her siblings, and a joyful friend to many. She loved traveling, camp- ing, entertaining and help- ing grow their chestnut business. She served on the board of directors for the Chestnut Association. They hosted the national conven- tion a couple of years ago and ever since then, her smoked salmon with dill weed sauce is served at every convention. Linda was a mem- ber of the First Christian Church in Pittsfield. Even during trying times, she never lost faith and always believed in our good Lord and had confidence in the care she received at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Okla. Survivors include her husband, Dale Black of rural Rockport; her moth- er, Edna McGlauchlen of Quincy; a son, Michael Black of Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Leslie Black and her husband, Marco Sedda of San Diego, Calif., and Kristin Rhodes and her friend, Ben Ramsey of Kansas City, Kan.; two grandchildren, Samantha Black and Nicholas Black, both of Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Mark (wife, Kiley) McGlauchlen of Quincy and Marty McGlauchlen of Pittsfield; a sister, Brenda McGlauchlen and her friend, Linda Ahern of Springfield; a niece and nephew, Taylor and Tyler McGlauchlen, both of Quincy; an uncle and aunt, Tom and Verna Harris of Muskegon, Mich.; and three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Black of Pleasant Hill, Ilah Higgins of Ottawa and and Melanie Padavic of Quincy. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Delbert “Mac” McGlauchlen. Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Pittsfield conducted by Michael Ten Eyck. Burial followed at the Samuel Taylor Cemetery near Rockport. Visitation was held Wednesday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Pittsfield or to the Samuel Taylor Cemetery. Lummis Funeral home in Pleasant Hill handled the arrangements. Lester “Buster” W. Anderson, 61 of East Alton, died Monday, July 27, 2015.

A memorial visitation will be from 1 until service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.

Donald RisleyDonald Risley, 90, of

Linda BlackLinda Gail (McGlauchlen)

Black, 58, of rural Rockport, joined our heavenly father Monday morning, Aug. 3, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family after a year-long battle with cancer.
