To add students from district list:

1. Click on MY STUDENTS from the menu bar.

2. Select Add/Remove Students or Please Add Students.

3. Find a student by searching or looking for their name in the District List.

4. When you locate your student’s

name, click to add them to your student roster.

To remove students from MY STUDENTS:

1. Click on MY STUDENTS from the menu bar.

2. Select Add/Remove Students.3. In the My Students List, locate your

student’s name.

4. Click to the left of the student’s name to remove the student from your roster.

NOTE: This does not remove them from the district list.

To create students not in district list:

1. Click on MY STUDENTS from the menu bar.

2. Select Add/Remove Students.3. If you do not see your student’s name

in either list, you can manually add him/her. In the District List, click the CREATE STUDENT button.

4. Add your student’s information and click SAVE.

5. Repeat steps 4a and 4b to add additional students.

ADDING AND REMOVING STUDENTS

Before you can begin assigning lessons and tracking data, you will need to add your students to your Vizzle roster with the MY STUDENTS panel.

Search for students in the District List on the left. Add or remove students to/from the My Students panel on the right.

To locate a student’s username or reset their password1. Log into your Vizzle account.2. Select the student from under MY

STUDENTS in the menu bar.3. Navigate to the PROFILE tab.4. Click the EDIT button to reset or

view the student’s username and/or password and then click SAVE.

SETTING UP STUDENT PROFILES

To set student play preferences1. Select a student from under MY

STUDENTS in the menu bar.2. Navigate to the PLAY

PREFERENCES tab. 3. Modify settings to meet the student’s

unique learning or accessibility needs. Customize the student’s profile by choosing celebrations, reinforcers and themes best suited to individual interests or skill-level.

To log in as a student1. Go to nextgen.govizzle.com.2. Enter student’s username and

password.3. Click LOGIN.

HINT: Click from the My Students panel to print student usernames and record passwords. Click on a student’s name in the My Students panel to go to their assigned lessons screen.

Set play preferences to fit and meet students’ individual learning needs and personal interests. Once play preferences are set for a student, every lesson will play accordingly.

To search lessons

1. Click EXPLORE LESSONS from the menu bar.2. Locate the search bar underneath the menu bar. 3. Select a library to search by using the drop-down

filter. Choose from Full Library, Common Core or ULS Curriculum.

4. Narrow your search further by using the filter boxes provided and/or add a keyword.

5. Click the SEARCH button.6. Preview the lesson by clicking on the hover preview

icon . Or, click on the options button to open the lesson details panel to preview and see additional options and information about the lesson.

To assign & track lessons to students

1. To assign a lesson/s to students click on the lesson card/s to select.

2. Once selected, click .3. Choose student/s or SELECT ALL and assign to your

entire student roster. 4. Click TRACK.5. In text box, type a word or short phrase that represents

skill/goal/obj and click . Or, if tag already exists, click to select.

6. Click SAVE.

SEARCH, ASSIGN & TRACK ACTIVITIES

Quickly search our growing library of 15,000 interactive activities aligned and searchable by standards. Then assign and track lessons to group and associate their lesson play data with specific goals and objective tags. Vizzle will use the tags to create data cards for you to quickly view the progress of students, evaluate their mastery of IEP goals and objectives, and provide you with real-time notifications .

If you have assigned a lesson that you do not want a student to access when they log into their Vizzle account with their own student username and password, you will want to lock the lesson. All lessons assigned to a student are unlocked by default.

To view and play locked lessons

1. From your account, select the student’s name under MY STUDENTS in the menu bar.

2. Locate the lesson under the student’s ASSIGNED tab.3. Select PLAY. 4. Lesson play data will be automatically recorded to the

student’s account.

To lock a lesson

1. From your account, select the student’s name under MY STUDENTS in the menu bar.

2. Locate the lesson under the student’s ASSIGNED tab.

On the lesson card, click to change it to Or, click

for the lesson details panel & click the STUDENT ACCESSIBLE button to change it to LOCKED.

3. Repeat steps to switch back to accessible when needed.

COLLECTING STUDENT DATA

Vizzle automatically collects data in 2 ways:

1. Student Login - The student logs into Vizzle with their own student username and password and plays lessons that have been assigned to them.

2. Teacher Login - A teacher is logged in and selects a student from under MY STUDENTS and has that student play lessons from their ASSIGNED tab.

VIEWING STUDENT PROGRESS AND DATA

VIEWING DATA TRACKING

Vizzle’s data can be viewed in two ways: (1) on the GOALS/OBJECTIVES OVERVIEW screen (displays progress on lessons based on goal/obj tags created) or (2) on the DETAILED REPORTS screen (allows you to run reports based on criteria you select).

To View Goal/Objective Progress1. From a student’s ASSIGNED tab, navigate over to

the DATA TRACKING tab. You will be brought to the GOALS/OBJECTIVES OVERVIEW panel.

2. Each goal/obj card provides information on: # of lessons with this tag, data for up to the last 5 plays, mastery criteria, and lesson play status (no plays, last played on, or mastered) Goals/Objectives Overview Panel Goal/Obj Card

Goal/Objective Card Details

To View, Edit and Print Goal/Objective Details

1. From the student’s GOALS/OBJECTIVES OVERVIEW screen on their DATA TRACKING tab, click on a Goal/Objective card to open its details screen.

2. To edit goal/objective tag, click on the orange edit pencil image to the right of the name.

3. To edit the mastery criteria, click on the orange edit pencil image to the right of the criteria. Note: The default criteria is 80% accuracy for 3 consecutive lesson plays.

4. To archive the goal/objective tag, click the orange ARCHIVE GOAL/OBJ button near top right of the details screen. Vizzle will give you the option to also archive all the lessons associated with the goal/obj tag off the student’s active education plan.

5. To print the goal/objective details, click the orange PRINT GOAL/OBJ button located near the top right of the details screen. Note: If you are on a mobile device, you will not see the print button.

To Run, Export and Print Detailed Data Reports1. From a student’s DATA TRACKING tab, click on the

DETAILED REPORTS button.2. Using the filter bar, set your report criteria including: date

range, time frame, subject, logged-in user, and/or goal/objective.

3. Click SUBMIT.4. Notes for specific lesson plays can be added by typing in the

NOTES column on right side of report.5. Clicking on report column headers will reorganize data

accordingly.6. Use the CSV and PDF buttons under SUMMARY to export

and/or print report.

VIEWING DATA TRACKING (cont)

ARCHIVING LESSONS

Vizzle allows you to archive lessons from a student’s Assigned tab and from My List. Archived lessons will be removed from active lesson lists but can be easily viewed or unarchived. Lesson play data is still automatically collected when archived lessons are played.

To Archive Selected Lessons1. Navigate to either a student’s ASSIGNED tab or

MY LIST from the menu bar.2. Click on lesson card/s you’d like to archive.

NOTE: selected lessons will be highlighted in gold.

3. Click the ARCHIVE button .

To View Archived Lessons

1. Navigate to either a student’s ASSIGNED tab or MY LIST from the menu bar.

2. Click on SHOW FILTERS 3. Click to check ARCHIVED box.

NOTE: To unarchive lessons, from the ARCHIVED screen, select the lesson/s and then click the UNARCHIVE button.

NOTE: From your login you can have a student play lessons from the ARCHIVE VIEW. Data for archived lessons is still automatically collected. Also, to unarchive lessons, you can follow the sames steps as you did to archive, however, this time from the ARCHIVE VIEW screen.
