Dear Parents and Guardians,

Recently I have been noticing that many students are forgetting their tennis shoes for Physical Education class. It is very important that your son or daughter have tennis shoes for physical education class all year long, not only for their own safety, but for the safety of the other students as well. One aspect of the Jacket Way program is ‘responsibility’ and this is one portion of my class that goes hand in hand with our district’s initiative. I suggested to the students that they look at the calendar provided by the classroom teacher to see which Encore class they have the next day. Another thought is to keep an extra pair of tennis shoes in the student’s locker in case they forget or the schedule changes. Hopefully we can all work together so the students here at Toth are both safe and responsible! Thanks for your help! Mr. Sam Doria

Parent and Guardian Information Night

During the month of May, 2019, the fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys and girls, separately, will attend a health lesson on growth and development. The health class focuses on the normal changes that happen when going from a child's body to an adult body.

A Parent and Guardian Information Night will be held on Tuesday, April 2, beginning at 6:00p.m. in the cafeteria at the Commodore Building, Board of Education Office, 140 East Indiana Ave., Perrysburg. The videos shown in class are a part of our School Board adopted health curriculum. Parent and Guardian Night will enable parents and guardians to view the videos so that a good dialogue can take place at home before and after the classes. Debbie Reddick, RN, will instruct the girls. Fourth and fifth grade boys will be instructed by Jason Koval, School Counselor, Toth Elementary. Sixth grade boys will receive instruction from Tom Przybylski, School Counselor, Perrysburg Junior High.

An approximate schedule for viewing the videos is as follows:6:00 – 6:30pm 6th grade girls and boys – each view the same video6:30 – 7:00pm 5th grade girls video7:00 – 7:30pm 5th grade boys video7:30 – 8:00pm 4th grade boys video8:00 – 8:30pm 4th grade girls video

Please feel free to call if you have any questions regarding this program. We look forward to seeing you at Parent and Guardian Night and answering any questions you may have.

Sincerely,Debbie Reddick, RNHealth Aide Supervisor, Perrysburg Schools419-874-3181, ext 5010
