Tech Tidbits Has your student ever forgotten to charge their iPad at night? If so try giving the iPad a quick charge in the morning by plugging it in and turning on Airplane Mode. Airplane Mode is supposed to provide a faster charge to the device. Additionally,

Apple recommends that once a month you go through a complete charging cycle. This means that you let the battery charge to 100% and then don’t plug it in again until the device has no power and turns off. This will help keep the electrons in the battery flowing and will help prolong the life of the battery. Of course doing a charging cycle like this would be great on a weekend. Concert in the Park! We are revamping our Core Knowledge Showcase this year to be focused on the classroom and our art program, which is scheduled for May 11th. In addition,

we are planning an incredible all-school event at Johnson-Springview Park! This amazing event will bring families together to celebrate our growing music program. All students will have an opportunity to perform Core Knowledge music selections, and our evening will end with our band and choir students. Food will be served, games will be played, and music will be enjoyed. Save the date for Thursday, May 18, for this wonderful all-school end of year celebration. More information about both events will be provided soon.
