KS2 Sports Day

A fantastic afternoon was had by all at the KS2 Sports Day. With only 1

point between 1st and 2nd place, Griffin house just pipped Phoenix house

to the post to win the trophy!

Reception

To end our topic ‘Fun in the Sun’ the children in reception celebrated with

a ‘ seaside day’ rotating around various seaside themed activities including

cooling down on the paddling pool, playing beach volleyball and even a sum-

mer seaside colouring competition with our winners Maisie (Ducklings) and

Victoria (Wrens).

Class Swap

On our move up day last week, Mrs Darker’s year 1’s-to-be, not only col-

oured card people to look like themselves, but worked in teams to make

paper chains. The challenge was to make a chain as long as the tallest

child in the team. Look what happened!
