Studio Booking

Bookable studios are:

Studio A plus Live Room (205/206)

Studio B (204)Production Teaching Studio (203)**Mixing Suite 1 & 2 (Only available to level 5 students)

Before each session begins the student have to collect leads and microphones fromfacilities in exchange for ID card. Each studio has a designated cable and

microphone boxes. A dditional microphones are booked separately (Please seebooking sheet available on the TMS VLE).

Studio Facilities Regulations Below you will find information regarding the studio facilities available at TMS andthe regulations to go with them. This are designed to ensure a fair and transparent

studio system that benefits every student.

For noise issues, please close the door at all time, especially when students areperforming.

Only TMS enrolled students are allowed access to the studio. Under no circumstancecan unauthorized persons be in or use the studio and auxiliary equipment.

Musical instruments such as guitars, bass and hand held instruments can freely beused in your recording session. For any other type of instrument please contact a

member facilities or your programme leader.

Students will have to sign the security spreadsheet for the appropriate room and

time in order to use any studio facilities. Please see below details of what you agreeto when you sign for a room:

•  Student ID card needs to be worn visibly at all times (or roomreplacement card).

•  Please check the inventory on entering the room.•  The booking student is responsible for the room, the cable and the

microphone box whilst in possession of the key.•  When handing over the cable box for the room ensure you have verified

all the leads are functioning and present in the studio/liveroom.•  Please report any missing or damaged items to the facilities staff upon

returning the key. Any unreported damage to equipment will constitute a

breach of the regulations and will lead to the loss of studio bookingrights.

Studio Facilities Regulations continued:

•  TMS staff will spot check student recording sessions.•  Please lock the room when vacated.•  Please do not to remove any equipment from a room under any

circumstances.•  Please keep the rooms tidy and dispose of all refuse.

•  Please return the equipment to standard set up including the fixed drummicrophone setup.

Failure to comply will expose you to liability for any losses sustained and will result insuspension from the studio and / or expulsion from the school.

** Limited ability to record live instruments.

TMS reserves the right to conduct a personal or property search if necessary andcan limit the use of the studios for any student found in breach of regulations.
