Our future Little Chefs

Our children at Tiggy winkles always enjoy cooking their own food on 16th February they made pancakes together as a team. They could choose their own toppings which included jam and chocolate. We did of course leave the flipping to the adults.

Following this both pre-schools made pizzas and all of the children could taste and choose their own topping from a wide range of choices such as pineapple, chicken and cheese.

Visting the “Children’s Centre”

Tiggy Winkles recently visited the “Children’s Centre”, where they learnt sign language and did some drama sessions with Debutots which included drama, music and instruments.

The “Children’s Centre” provides information to families who have children less than 5 years of age to ensure that all children get the best start in their life.

With two nurseries based in Castle Vale, Tiggy Winkles have everything on offer to help you give your child a great start in life.

Tiggy winkles plan a wide range of activities throughout the day, this includes chatting, singing, story time and nap time.

Pegasus and Chivenor

Dominie, one of our Senior Nursery Nurses at Chivenor, recently gave birth to adorable twins. Tiggy Winkles and the Merlin team are

wishing Dominie all the best during her maternity leave and are looking forward to her

returning later in the year.

Congratulations

Small Steps for A Big Cause

The start of spring brought lots of local children out onto the streets to raise money for charity. Over 15 kids from babies to toddlers took part in the “Teddy Bear Step Out Walk”, organised by Tiggy Winkles Chivenor, to help raise money for charity.

The walk has become an annual event as Tiggy Winkles likes to encourage their children to support childrens charities. Parents were invited to take part in the charity walk, with those who attended enjoying being part of the sponsored event. The local community managed to dig deep “into” their pockets raising over £750.00 for “action for children”.

Happy Days at Pegasus

With recent increasing demand for places, two rooms that had been closed are re-opening. The Pegasus team are delighted to re-open the two rooms and are looking forward to welcoming up to 7 new children.

“It is nice to increase the number of rooms as it will keep us busy and enable more children to come to

Very Hungry Caterpillar display

Tiggy Winkles have prepared a spring theme that shows a lifecycle of a caterpillar . The children at Tiggys were really excited as the cycle showed how a caterpillar grows into a beautiful butterfly. They finger painted the caterpillar and the butterflies in activities to learn about different colours.
