to the weaving is what will show on the top of the band if the card is turned forward. If the card is turned back, then the top thread farthest from the weaving will be displayed on top of the band.
S-Threaded Z-ThreadedTW Law 2: An S threaded card will create a Z ply when turned forward. The same S threaded card when turned back will give an S ply. Opposite is true for the Z threaded cards.
