Gymnastics 2011We were learning tobalance while walking and turning on a beam by putting both arms out.land after a jump on my feet by bending my knees and hips to stop me from losing balance.do a tidy forwards roll on a mat by tucking my head onto my chest and rolling straight to a sitting position. jump up by myself onto the bar, hold it with the over-grasp grip and swing my legs while keeping my arms straight.

Autumn is ...Autumn is like a cold pool, diving in bunch of leaves.Autumn is a leaf dancing in the wild wind.Autumn is a shaking dinosaur freezing into an iceberg.Autumn is like a shaking leaf because it is soooo cold.Autumn is a cool time to fly a kite.Kites whistle, loop, throop, and troop around the air like an acrobatic aeroplane.Author: Thomas Wallace Back to my Writing PageHow is Cricket different to Hockey?

NEXTThe Big TentA while ago we went on the four wheeler and Mum went in truck. We went to the camp where we always go. I brought my big yellow bike and Sam did as well. We got the gear out of the truck and set up the big blue tent. My cousins were there as well and it was getting dark. I didnt sleep with Mum and Dad. I slept with my big cousin, we rushed to the tent. We could see because I had a torch. We went to sleep straight away. In the morning we put down the tent and packed up the gear and travelled to the shop.I got a coke, Sam got a piece of bread and water. When we got to the house we unpacked the gear and it was HARD WORK!Back to my Writing PageTreesTrees are very important because they make oxygen, food, fruit and help to stop erosion. The Earth would just be brown without trees and that would not be good.

People should be growing trees but they are too busy watching TV. Planting trees is good fitness, running around getting shovels and seeds. You need to water the plants so the trees grow. This would get you moving and make you healthier.

How would you go hunting without camouflage ? Hunting gear blends in with the trees in the gorge.

Trees are shelters to many animals and insects in the world. Without animals it would be terrible. You would not have any pets, no horses to ride, no dogs to protect you because animals need oxygen too. Without trees you wouldnt be healthy at all.

So get outside and plant some trees and get healthy, dont forget to water them. If you sit on the couch you will look like a smelly old potato. Get out and plant a trees and be healthy and happy.

We continued in term three to learn a new poem each week. We have fun poems and look for interesting words, word patterns and rhyming patterns in the poems. When we all know the poem we read it onto the voice thread. My Reflection I knew the poem and spoke loudly and clearly. I used an interesting voice and I didnt speak like a robot.
