And we use it every day

Down our sink and toilet drains

We flush it all away

But it’s time to face consequences:

Nothing lasts forever

And our water’s almost out

This is how much we have

After we take a bath

So how can we fix this loss?

Well, just doo the math

Cut down on time; it’s a

Easy change to make

To save water, five minutes

Is all you need to take

This is what’s left when we’ve done

Our gardening and such

And when we flush our toilets,

Then it isn’t very much

Try to do these things

Just a little less, perhaps

Another way to save would be

To fix your leaky taps

How could we cut down on this?

It simply can’t be done

We need it on hot days

And it helps our bodies run
