STABLES BOARDER MEETING THIS SATURDAYChanges are coming to the Innsbrook Stables. After 15 years of serving the equestrian community at Innsbrook, Kim Michelson will be leaving as the facility manager effective December 1. Thank you, Kim, for your years of care and best of luck in your next endeavor! A meeting for Innsbrook Stables boarders will be held Saturday, November 17 at 9 a.m. at the Aspen Center to meet the new stables manager and hear about facility improvements. Stay tuned for more details in next week’s issue of Village Views. Ext. 9178.

RECYCLE RIGHT – OUR SERVICE DEPENDS ON ITThe recycling industry has faced significant changes in 2018 – and its affects could result in a loss of service here at Innsbrook. With your help in using recycling services correctly, we can continue to live in harmony with nature and keep services. Last week, our provider found non-recyclables such as dirty diapers, bottles filled with liquid, a tire and food, all of which must be separated and hauled away at a significant cost to our waste services provider. We’ve been notified that should this continue, we may face loss of service or a significant increase in our waste removal costs. For a printable PDF of acceptable recycling practices, please visit: http://bit.ly/IBKrecycle. Printed copies are also available outside the Property Owner Information office at Charrette Creek Commons or the Main Gate. Thank you for doing your part for our community. Ext. 9180.

DARK SKIES, NEIGHBORLY TIES A dark sky full of stars is just one of the beautiful views we enjoy at Innsbrook. Please do your part to limit light pollution and remember to turn off exterior lights at your property when they’re not in immediate use. This is even more important as the leaves fall. Thank you for being a good IBK neighbor. Ext. 9180.

WHY WAIT? ADD YOUR LOT TO THE SNOW REMOVAL LIST TODAY! The snow season has started! Get your name on the snow removal list. If you'd like Innsbrook to clear your driveway for $40 per service after snowfalls of three inches or more, call to be put on the list for full-season snow removal service. Ext. 9180.

EARLY HOLIDAY SAVINGS AT THE ASPEN BOUTIQUESave for the holidays at the Aspen Boutique blowout sale with 50 percent off all items storewide! Ext. 0.

HOLIDAY DONATIONS FOR WRIGHT CITY FAMILIESConsider donating to the Innsbrook Holiday Heart Gift Drive for Wright City families. Drop off a gift card (Walmart or VISA) in the denomination of your choice to the Property Owner Information Office at Charrette Creek Commons (see Page 4 for hours). In early December, the cards will be delivered to the counselor at Wright City East Elementary School. The counselor will use the cards to purchase Christmas gifts for families in need. The deadline for donations is Friday, November 30. If you are unable to deliver the card to the office, text 314.265.5311 and we can have the cards picked up.

PROPERTY OWNER ART SHOW: ARTIST HIGHLIGHTThe Property Owner Art Show is now open at Charrette Creek Commons. One of the artists whose work is featured in the show is Cynthia (Cindy) Bowers.

Cynthia has been photographing Innsbrook for three decades. She carries her camera everywhere to capture those intimate portraits of nature that are so common throughout the Innsbrook community (pictured right). Recently, Cindy has taken up new types of media including acrylic pours and watercolor and acrylic painting.

Another artist whose work is featured in the show is Karen T. Levin.

Karen has been enjoying her retirement since 2005. That year, she took up rug-hooking, relearned crocheting, began to explore acrylic painting and revisited watercolors as well. Karen is positive that she will visit more in the artsy world.

She taught art for 30 years in New Jersey and Florida. In this time, she taught a variety of subjects, earned her master’s degree in gifted education and spent one summer attending Harvard University’s Career Discovery Program where she studied architecture to appease her long-time inner yearning to become an architect. Instead of changing careers, Karen channeled her new-found knowledge into classroom activities for her students. Karen is now enjoying retirement at Innsbrook and is looking forward to attending exciting activities and meeting new friends. Her work is pictured above left.

The art show is open through December 10. Ext. 9180.

BUILDING ADVENTURES FOR GENERATIONS TO COME! Make a legacy of your love for Innsbrook by contributing a commemorative donation for the purchase of:
