The US 101 Mobility Study will - Examine current and future conditions, identify key
deficiency areas and propose multi-modal improvement packages along the US 101 Corridor.
Evaluate the performance of the multi-modal improvement packages using appropriate performance measures.
With stakeholder and public involvement, establish regional priorities for multi-modal improvements for the US 101 Corridor in San Luis Obispo County.
Establish regional funding priorities that meets the needs of SLOCOG, the local agencies, and Caltrans.
Project Area
The US 101 Corridor - as defined for this study - includes: the US 101 mainline and
interchanges; interface with local service roads;
parallel frontage roads or other roadways that serve as viable alternatives to US 101;
transit facilities such as park-and-ride lots;
and, bicycle and pedestrian network connections.
