Each Year a number of students achieve Oxbridge/Medicine/Veterinary Medicine/Dentistry places

Many students opt to follow an APPRENTICESHIP route or some other DIRECTLY INTO WORK path

UCAS• The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service. • It runs a website with information on:

• Courses & Universities• Help with making an application (including helpful videos)• Etc.

• It organises the Higher Education Convention for students.• In the summer term UCAS will launch ‘APPLY’ for students to prepare their application

• TRACK is used by students to follow their application through the system

• Students can apply for a UCAS card which will give discounts as well as registering them for a newsletter and further information about their courses.

• A checklist is completed by the students, attached to their application and then the whole form is checked by the tutor.

• Pay UCAS electronically for administration of the application.

The THS process does not start until the form has been PAID/SENT in UCAS and a paper copy with a completed THS checklist has been handed in to the 6th form office.

• The form is checked by the central team and predicted grades and an academic reference are attached

• The application is then submitted to UCAS.UCAS process the form sending it on to the universities and we wait!
