Purpose:

Toofferauniqueandcreativetouchtorafingthrougha

reversemethodofsellingrafetickets.

Asub-fundraiserinadditiontooneofthebiggerfundraise

thisfunandcreativewaytoattractpeopletoselltheir

rafeticketscanbeabighit.Usually,peoplepurchasea

rafeticket(s)tobeintheracetowinaprizeattheendo

anevent.But,ReverseRafeisasystemofsellingback

ticketsratherthangettingmore.Thisishowitworks:Inste

ofwinningaprize,theluckywinnerwillbechosentopres

afunnygagordosomethingembarrassingonstage.Use

imagination.Youcanoptoutbysellingyourrafebackto

ONE DAY

Purpose:

Mobilizestudentstowalkadayforacountryofaproject

countingtheirsteps,anddonatingapennyforeachstep

walked.

Walkingissomethingwedoeverydaywithoutsecond

guessing,muchlikebreathing.Anaveragepersonwalks3,

5,000stepsaday,and2,000stepsisequivalentto1mil

distance.ThisWalkOneDayfundraiserisanexcitingand

practicalsimulationofhowslumchildrenwalklongdistan

toschool.Bymobilizingstudentstosetapartonedaytow

astheironlymodeoftransportation,weareprovidingan

opportunitytoshareinthelivesofslumchildren.Forevery

stepstudentstaketowalk,theSupplywillaskthemtodo

onepennyforeachstep.Morethanamonetaryeffort,this

practicalmeanstounderstandtheslumchildrenwholive

theslumworld.
