21st SUNDAY OF THE YEAR YEAR CPriestWe come to the Lord's Table as a community of faith. In that same spirit, let us offer our prayersfor the needs of all people:

Reader• That our parish community may be a place of support and affirmation

as we struggle through the "narrow door" to the reign of God:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That all nations may journey together in peaceto the holy mountain 'of God:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That the new academic year beginning in the next few weeks may be a time of discovery and fulfilment for both students and teachers:

let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.• That, in their selfless love and care for their families,

parents and guardians may teach their childrenthe limitless and unconditional love of God:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That the sick, the suffering, and the dying especially Sr. Ursula

and everyone who needs our prayers at this timemay find hope and healing with Christ the Redeemer:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That our relatives and friends who have diedmay find light and peace in the presence of God forever:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That God will grant the prayers we now make in the silence of our heartslet us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• We seek the prayers of our Blessed Mother, as we say, Hail Mary . . . . . .PriestFather of all nations, hear the prayers we offer.May the spirit of community which brings us togetherat this Eucharistic tablebring us and all people together one dayat your table in your heavenly kingdom, where Jesus is Lord for ever and ever. Amen.
