The State of the Internet Report ASIA-PACIFIC HIGHLIGHTS – THIRD QUARTER, 2013 In the third quarter, the global average connection speed increased 10.0% to 3.6 Mbps, and the global average peak connection speed decreased -5.2% to 17.9 Mbps. Across countries in the Asia-Pacific region, quarterly changes across both metrics were generally positive.
