President’s Report
BY GLENN RODRICK
The Sportsmen’s Show was a lot of fun. I can’t say thank you
enough to the Volunteers that came out and made this such a
success for our club. The trout pond tested our skills as anglers while
helping kids learn and catch fish. And the TSC booth fielded lots of
questions.
Special Events
It was nice to see families coming out to the Peil Range for
our 2nd fun shoot, keep an eye on the calendar for our
next date. All targets are reactionary so it’s exciting to
watch things jump, spin and fall over.
March 3rd - is the Friends of the NRA Banquet, (tickets are still
available). Call the office or Jim Williams for information.
March 10th - is the TSC Crab Feed and Hypnotist and tickets
still available. Call the office for information.
March 23rd 6:00pm - Easter Egg Stuffing will begin; if interested
in some fun hop on over to the hall and join in.
March 24th - Easter Egg hunt. The Bunny is rumored to be
hopping by (rain or shine) for kids 12 and under to
search the woods for hidden treasures.
Starting February 26th Range Hours will be extended to 5:00pm.
Thank you again to all of our members and their families for
keeping our club a safe and enjoyable place to be. We would like
to invite you all to come out with us on Saturday, April 7, 2018 for
our Annual work party to clean up the grounds and do some extra
repairs that need to be done.

Rifle Committee Volunteers
Two Range Safety Officers, David Smith and Kirk Moellendorf, have been volunteering one
day a week on the rifle range for almost four years. That is about 1600 hours! Curt Southworth
and the rest of the committee decided to recognize both of these gentlemen with awards
for their outstanding service. They may be “out-of-sight, out-of-mind” but the range would be
hard pressed to get along without them.
Please note—Club Café will be closed April 1st for Easter.
MOTION
Gary Higginbotham made a motion at the March 1st
General Membership meeting to donate $3500 to
the Friends of the NRA. The motion vote will be voted
on at the March 7th General Membership meeting.
