HIGH SPEEDHigh-speed settings are used for cleaning—for most pools, you only need to run at this speed for 2–4 hours. If you have pool solar heating, to properly function it will require a higher-than-average high speed. Check with your pool professional for proper pool solar heating speed.
LOW SPEEDLow-speed settings are used for filtration and to keep water moving—these settings are where you will see greater savings. A properly calibrated variable-speed pool pump on low speed increases energy savings while providing optimal pool quality. Accessories such as gas heaters, waterfalls or slides can be operated using the pump’s egg timer feature.
