December President’s Message Happy Holidays!!!

I hope everyone is off to a great start for 2014’s Holiday Season! As the year winds to a close we will celebrate at our guild Holiday Party on December 2. The festivities will be at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, off Highway 174 on Osborne Hill Road, at 5:45. See the details in the newsletter, it promises to be a fun evening! Arrival 5:45-6:00, starting at 6:15 PROMPT.

It has been my honor to serve as president this year, thank you all for making my term a very enjoyable time. I had not expected to have so much fun and am so proud to be associated with such a wonderful group of talented and generous quilters. Quilters are the very BEST!

See you at the party on Tuesday, December 2nd!

For our February 2015 speaker may I introduce our VERY OWN, Pat Fryer!! Pat has owned and operated several quilt shops in the Central Valley. She retired up here. Ha, ha, RETIRED! She is busier than ever with Villa Rosa Designs. She has her own line of patterns, kits and some great fabrics which she will bring to sell at the February meeting. Come and support one of our own talented members. She has much to share. From the Editor:

Starting in February, I will have a poster displaying information about our Affiliates at each Guild meeting. If you are joining or renewing as an affiliate I would appreciate a business card, if you have one, included with your application. You can also give them to me at the December or January guild meeting. I have not always been as consistent in acknowledging those who are affiliates and I would like to insure that you are duly recognized in 2015.

Thanks, Sue Miller
