The Pheasant has 30 bedrooms, four of which are feature rooms, four are dog friendly and three sets are interconnecting.

AccommodationFeature RoomsOur four feature rooms have been individually styled and are located on the first floor, three of which are overlooking the front of the Hotel.

The bedroom facilities include:

• Cots can be provided and children (12 and under) can be accommodated on z-beds.

The ‘Weybourne’ and ‘Salthouse’ rooms have king size beds and ensuite bathrooms with a bath and overhead shower.

The ‘Pheasant’ and ‘Kelling’ rooms offer Superking size or twin beds and ensuite bathrooms with a bath and separate shower.

Situated at the rear of the hotel, the ground floor rooms have a garden view, two of which are dog friendly and provide easy access from the rear entrance – perfect for early morning walkies!

Standard RoomsThe Pheasant’s comfortable Standard rooms offer superking size or twin beds and ensuite bath or shower rooms.

We have 3 sets of inter-connecting rooms on the ground floor, perfect for families and friends.

Situated at the rear of the hotel the ground floor rooms have a grassy bank view, two of which are dog friendly and provide easy access from the rear entrance – perfect for early morning walkies! Whilst our two rooms on the first floor have been individually styled.

The bedroom facilities include:

Family RoomOur family room offers a superking size or twin beds and a pull out sofa bed that sleeps two. This room is located on the ground floor. It is fully accessible with Mira Kohler walk in digital shower wet room.

Dog friendlyDogs are warmly welcomed in all areas of the hotel, with the exception of the restaurant and we do operate a ‘well behaved pet policy’. If your dog is noisy, we may need to ask you to vacate the room, so as not to disrupt other guests.

Dining at The PheasantThe perfect place for a relaxed meal or afternoon tea

North Norfolk has an abundance of fresh ingredients enabling our chefs to create a classic menu using the finest, seasonal produce, from Cromer crabs to Kelling Estate pigeon.

Join us for coffee and cake, lunch or afternoon tea in our Lounge, Garden or new Orangery and choose from the á la carte menu in our restaurant for evening dining.

Food is served all day to residents and non residents.

Our restaurant can seat up to 100 guests.

We also have a private dining room seating up to 24 guests, perfect for family get-togethers, golf parties or business meetings.

Booking advisable but not a neccessity.

From LondonEither join the M11 from the North Circular A406 or from the M25 junction 27. Head north, passing Stanstead Airport, until junction 9 signed A11/A14. Take this junction joining the A11 (briefly A14: 20 miles) then turn left (A11) signposted Thetford/Norwich. Follow until Barton Mills roundabout (26 miles).Continue on A11 to the third roundabout (11 miles). Take first exit A134 to King’s Lynn follow (7 miles) until arriving in Mundford, then at roundabout take 3rd exit onto A1065 signposted Swaffham/Cromer. Stay on this road to Swaffham (10 Miles).Continue through Swaffham town centre, veering right at the mini roundabout in the Market Place. Cross through the lights following the A1065 signposted towards Cromer, pass a Tesco Superstore and Waitrose on the left. Continue to Fakenham (16 miles). At the roundabout on the bypass go straight; the road becomes the A148 to Holt/Cromer (12 miles). Take the first left on arrival in Holt – see right.

From The North – Midlands – King’s LynnTake the A17 towards King’s Lynn. At the roundabout take the A149 bypassing King’s Lynn and then at the 4th roundabout take the A148 to Fakenham (17 miles). At roundabout turn left (continuing on the A148) and bypass Fakenham, heading towards Holt/Cromer (12 miles). Take the first left on arrival in Holt - see below.Alternatively for a more scenic (but much slower) route from King’s Lynn, stay on the A149 or ‘Coast Road’ (40 miles).This will bring you directly to the hotel passing the beautiful North Norfolk coastline.From NorwichFrom City centre or ring road, head for the airport on the A140 and pass it on your right. At the next roundabout take the B1149 signposted to Holt (17 miles). Follow until you arrive in Holt. Cross the roundabout and then turn right into High Street.At Holt and on the High Street, follow through town passing BP garage on left then over pedestrian traffic lights and take next left signposted Kelling (2 miles). Follow approximately 1 mile then take left hand fork in road and proceed past the entrance to the Hall & Estate Office and continue to the village of Kelling coming to a T junction with the A149.Turn right towards Sheringham. The entrance to The Pheasant Hotel is 500 yards on your right.
