(Slide 1)The scripture says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (Slide 2)For the last two weeks, we have been looking at Satan’s attack on God’s remnant church through corrupting doctrines with New Theology and making doctrine difficult to prove through modern Bible translations that were derived from the 4th century corrupted manuscripts that came from western Rome.(Slide 3)Today we will evaluate another one of Satan’s assaults on God’s church by the attack on the standards of the church, as well as an effort to render the Spirit of Prophecy ineffective and inappropriate for the contemporary church. The title of today’s sermon is “Here We Stand”. Shall we seek God’s guidance as we pray…(Slide 4)

If you have never underlined or highlighted Jeremiah 6:16,17, turn there and do so now as I read it, “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.” This appropriately describes the prevailing attitude of many SDA’s today. (Slide 5)

The servant of the Lord wrote much regarding the shaking, but significant in this quote is described who will be the principle ones shaken out of God’s remnant church. “The mighty shaking has commenced and will go on, and all will be shaken out who are not willing to take a bold and unyielding stand for the truth and to sacrifice for God and His cause.” Early Writings Page 50.3 (Slide 6)

Before we look at the hellish trends in God’s church today, I want to look back to some of the reasons why strange things have been happening. Satan has been very busy and he has many willing agents to do his work. (Slide 7)

Pictured here are two activists, though born 390 years apart, they were both associates and allies in the ultimate goal of the Roman Catholic Church, and have had a great impact on many of the problems in the Seventh-day Adventist Church today. (Slide 8)

Inigo de Loyola was born in 1491 in northern Spain. At the age of 31 he was converted. Along with a few other companions, he founded a new order that was approved by Pope Paul III on September 27, 1540. This new order was known as the Society of Jesus, today we call it the order of the Jesuits. Loyola was elected to be its first Superior General, April 22, 1541. (Slide 9)

Before 1548 Ignatius had opened ten colleges in Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and India. Today Jesuit Colleges and Universities can be found all over the world. Pictured above is the 450 year old Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. (Slide 10)

One of the most famous in our country is Georgetown University in Washington, DC, pictured above. There are 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States alone. (Slide 11)

Visibly and on the surface, the majority of the Jesuit order is seen doing good deeds for the benefit of mankind. But behind the scenes the Jesuits have as a goal and by subversion, to bring all countries governments and all religions under the authority of a one world government headed by the Pope of Rome. (Slide 12)

I read this from the Spirit of Prophecy, “Throughout Christendom, Protestantism was menaced by formidable foes. The first triumphs of the Reformation past, Rome summoned new forces, hoping to accomplish its destruction. At this time the order of the Jesuits was created, the most cruel, unscrupulous, (Slide 13)

and powerful of all the champions of popery. Cut off from earthly ties and human interests, dead to the claims of natural affection,

reason and conscience wholly silenced, they knew no rule, no tie, but that of their order, and no duty but to extend its power.” Great Controversy – Pg. 234.4 (Slide 14)

The following is the text of the Jesuit Extreme Oath of Induction as recorded in the Journals of the 62nd Congress, 3rd Session, of the United States Congressional Record (House Calendar No. 397, Report No. 1523, 15 February, 1913, pp. 3215-3216). (Slide 15)

Dr. Alberto Rivera, who escaped from the Jesuit Order in 1967, confirmed that the induction ceremony and the text of the Jesuit Oath which he took were identical to what we is cited in the next 9 slides. In the interest of time, I will only read selected portions of the oath. (Slide 16)

I_______________ , now in the presence of Almighty God, the blessed Virgin Mary, the blessed St. John the Baptist, the Holy Apostles, St. Peter and St. Paul, and all the saints, sacred host of Heaven, and to you, my Ghostly Father, the superior general of the Society of Jesus, founded by St. Ignatius Loyola, in the pontification of Paul the III, and continued to the present, do by the womb of the Virgin, the matrix of God, and the rod of Jesus Christ, declare and swear that His Holiness, the Pope, is Christ's vice regent and is the true and only head of the Catholic or Universal Church throughout the earth; and that by the virtue of the keys of binding and loosing given His Holiness by my Saviour, Jesus Christ, he hath power to depose heretical kings, princes, States, Commonwealths, and Governments and they may be safely destroyed. Therefore to the utmost of my power I will defend this doctrine and His Holiness's right and custom against all usurpers of the heretical or Protestant authority whatever, especially the Lutheran Church of Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, and the now pretended authority and Church's of England and Scotland, and the branches of same now established in Ireland and on the continent of America and elsewhere and all adherents in regard that they may be usurped and heretical, opposing the sacred Mother Church of Rome.

I do now denounce and disown any allegiance as due to any heretical king, prince or State, named Protestant or Liberal, or obedience to any of their laws, magistrates or officers.

(Slide 18)I do further declare that the doctrine of the Churches of England and

Scotland of the Calvinists, Huguenots, and others of the name of Protestants or Masons to be damnable, and they themselves to be damned who will not forsake the same. I do further declare that I will help, assist, and advise all or any of His Holiness's agents, in any place where I should be, in Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Ireland or America, or in any other kingdom or territory I shall come to, and do my utmost to extirpate the heretical Protestant or Masonic doctrines and to destroy all their pretended powers, legal or otherwise. I do further promise and declare that, notwithstanding I am dispensed with to assume any religion heretical for the propogation of the Mother Church's interest; to keep secret and private all her agents counsels from time to time, as they intrust me, and not divulge, directly or indirectly, by word, writing or circumstances whatever, but to execute all that should be proposed, given in charge, or discovered unto me by you, my Ghostly Father, or any of this sacred order. I do further promise and declare that I will have no opinion or will of my own or any mental reservation whatever, even as a corpse or cadaver (perinde ac cadaver), but will unhesitatingly obey each and every command that I may receive from my superiors in the militia of the Pope and of Jesus Christ. That I will go to any part of the world whithersoever I may be sent, to the frozen regions north, jungles of India, to the centers of civilization of Europe, or to the wild haunts of the babarous savages of America without murmuring or repining, and will be submissive in all things whatsoever is communicated to me. (Slide 21)

I do further promise and declare that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly and openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Masons, as I am directed to do, to extirpate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition, and that will hang, burn, waste, boil, flay, strangle, and bury alive these infamous heretics; rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women, and crush their infant's heads against the walls in order to annihilate their execrable race. (Slide 22)

That when the same cannot be done openly I will secretly use the poisonous cup, the strangulation cord, the steel of the poniard, or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity or authority of the persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agents of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Father of the Society of Jesus. In confirmation of which I hereby dedicate my life, soul, and all corporal powers, and with the dagger which I now receive I will subscribe my name written in my blood in testimony thereof; and should I prove false or weaken in my determination may my brethren and fellow soldiers of the militia of the Pope cut off my hands and feet and my throat from ear to ear, my belly opened and sulfur burned therein with all the punishment that can be inflicted upon me on earth and my soul shall be tortured by demons in eternal hell forever. That I will in voting always vote for a Knight of Columbus in preference to a Protestant, especially a Mason, and that I will leave my party so to do; that if two Catholics are on the ticket I will satisfy myself which is the better supporter of Mother Church and vote accordingly. That I will not deal with or employ a Protestant if in my power to deal with or employ a Catholic. That I will place Catholic girls in Protestant families that a weekly report may be made of the inner movements of the heretics. That I will provide myself with arms and ammunition that I may be in readiness when the word is passed, or I am commanded to defend the church either as an individual or with the militia of the Pope. All of which I,_______________, do swear by the blessed Trinity and blessed sacrament which I am now to receive to perform and on part to keep this my oath. In testimony hereof, I take this most holy and blessed sacrament of the Eucharist and witness the same further with my name written with the point of this dagger dipped in my own blood and seal in the face of this holy sacrament. (Slide 25)

If you have not read this book, “The Secret Terrorists,” get a copy and read it. It goes into detail on how the diabolical plan to take over the world has been going on for almost 470 years. It details how they are behind all wars, the assassination of many important people including Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, the sinking of the Titanic, Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing and the 9/11 World Trade Center attack.

(Slide 26)Pictured on the right is the man reputed to be the most powerful man in

the world. His name is Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, the Black Pope. He is the Supreme Jesuit General, the highest in power in the vast papal right arm of Satan’s strength. He secretly commands leaders of nations, secret societies and all his agents acting in governments and religious denominations.(Slide 27)

Taking over all of the major governments, their financial institutions and all major religious denominations has been a work in progress for over 200 years. Every major religious denomination has been in Jesuit control since the 1980’s. The United States has been its prime target.(Slide 28)Only the cream of the crop, the most intelligent young candidates, are ever selected to be in this secret society, that continues the ultimate goal of world domination. They undergo vigorous training and are put through powerful mind altering techniques. They are stripped of their former selves, and are left void of any connection to their past identity. They become tools of the mission. They will most likely be used in either the political or the religious arena. (Slide 29)

Napoleon Bonaparte was a general of the French Revolution. It was he who ordered General Berthier into Rome to take the Pope prisoner in 1798, thus inflicting a deadly wound on the Papacy, in fulfillment of the prophecy of Revelation 13:3. About the Jesuits he said, “The Jesuits are a military organization, not a religious order. Their chief is a general of the army. (Slide 30)

And the aim of this organization is POWER. Power in its most despotic exercise. Wherever the Jesuits are admitted, they will be masters, cost what it may. Every act, every crime, however atrocious, is a meritorious work, if committed for the interest of the Society of Jesuits, or by order of the general.” (Slide 31)

Considering Napoleon’s statement, “Wherever the Jesuits are admitted, they will be masters, cost what it may.” How does this impact the Seventh-day Adventist Church? (Slide 32)

The Jesuits are the masters of disguise. The young graduate Jesuit has been trained in the denomination he will work in. He attends their

seminaries, marries, becomes a pastor and over the years, works his way into either a teaching position or the hierarchy of the church government, thereby affecting changes that directs the church toward Rome. (Slide 33)

Abraham Lincoln was assassinated because he defended a former catholic priest, Charles Chiniquy and won the case in a trial the Jesuits planned on winning. Mr. Chiniquy cried upon winning because he knew that there would be a death warrant on Mr. Lincoln. Details are in a book written by the same, “50 Years in the Church of Rome.” (Slide 34)

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated by the Jesuits because he told a group of Protestant ministers that he chose to defend the constitution of the United States and not the orders of the Papacy. (Slide 35)

James Arrabito, artist/illustrator/photographer produced many videotapes under such titles as 666 and the Mark, The Inroads of Spiritualism and History of the Jesuits to name a few. In September of 1990, returning from a photography trip to Alaska, he, along with two of his sons and a very experienced pilot, mysteriously died in a plane crash. He was high on the Jesuit hit list. (Slide 36)

Alberto Rivera, former Jesuit who verified the Extreme Jesuit Oath, also revealed the secret plots of the Jesuit program in detail, was eventually assassinated by the Jesuits in June 1997. There have been numerous efforts to discredit Rivera, on the surface by leading Protestant clergy, however behind the scenes directed by the Jesuits. (Slide 37)

Captain Edward Smith, the world’s most experienced master of the North Atlantic routes, himself a Jesuit, received the order to sink the ship with all the wealthy and powerful men that represented the greatest hindrance to the Jesuit’s plans. Francis Browne, the Jesuit Master of Edward Smith, and who answered directly to the Jesuit General, had given Smith the order and reminded him of his oath. (Slide 38)

Pope John XXIII, Born: Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, November 25, 1881 (Rome, Italy), became Roman Catholic Pope #262 and served from October 28, 1958 - June 3, 1963 (4 years, 7 months). He died: June 3, 1963 from stomach cancer. Pope John XXIII is perhaps best known for convening the

second ecumenical council at the Vatican, known as the Vatican II Council of 1962-1965. (Slide 39)

The Ecumenical movement was born from these meetings with the intentions of bringing all denominations together in unity. Setting doctrinal purity aside, all would pray together for unification. But the ecumenical minded Protestants prayer is actually “Lord, take us back to Rome.” The Papacy did not concede a single Protestant issue. Rome and Rome alone is the single beneficiary from the Ecumenical movement. (Slide 40)

Over the four years of the Vatican II Council, many plans were laid that today we see their fulfillment. A celebration style of worship, gospel gimmicks, compromise of doctrine and standards for the sake of love and unity. “The Protestants of today know nothing of the reformation, nor do they know what was being protested.” (Slide 41)

Standards, yes we have standards. And they are all under attack! (Slide 42)

In many Protestant and SDA churches we see the fruit of the Ecumenical movement. No dress standards, lights and loud disco-type music imitating the secular worldly entertainment. (Slide 43)

Dancing in the aisles of celebration churches is common as its participants are caught up in a frenzy of emotion. The dancing is not with another person, but individuals jumping and whirling with screams of ecstasy. But the Bible says in 1 John 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” Where in the 4 gospels is it recorded that Jesus danced? (Slide 44)

No one knows more about the influence of music on behavior than does Satan. No one is better equipped than is he to know how to use music to detract from a true worship experience. The clapping of hands in rhythm to the strong beat of the music is often followed by other responses to the volume and rhythm until the entire body is affected by the musical stimulation. (Slide 45)

In {2SM 36.2} the Spirit of Prophecy warned against this unholy style of worship. “The things you have described as taking place in Indiana, the

Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. (Slide 46)

There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit.” (Slide 47)

Many churches are using gospel gimmicks as part of their church services. They use gospel puppets, (Slide 48)

Gospel mimes and clowns, (Slide 49)

And gospel Magicians. Such churches have abandoned doctrine for preaching foolishness.(Slide 50)

If we change our method of proclaiming spiritual truth, we change the message itself. When we change the message of God, we change the God of the message. Gimmicks and worldliness compromise our unique message. (Slide 51)

The Great Controversy is between Christ and Satan and only by constant study and constant prayer can we keep ourselves unspotted from the world. We will serve one master or the other. It is Satan’s purpose to divert our attention from study and prayer. His most effective weapon is (Slide 52)

Television. And it is through this medium that many are hypnotized. (Slide 53)

200,000 violent acts and 40,000 murders, witnessed by the average 18 year old. There is indecency even in the choreographed commercials. Even the music in the commercials has an affect on the psyche. (Slide 54)

There is no shortage of reading material for the eyes of the carnal heart. (Slide 55)

Jesus asks for your heart and your eyes. Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. (Slide 56)

Psalm 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. …I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. (Slide 57)

Those today professing Christ as their Savior have a love for the world and all that money can buy. With the New Theology doctrine that says I am going to go on sinning until Jesus comes, then I will be made perfect in glorification. Little time is devoted to any Bible study. Just love one another and feel good. (Slide 60)

But the instruction in scripture in 1 John 2:15 is, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (Slide 61)

One of the seven deadly sins in Proverbs 6:16-19 is PRIDE. Pride had its birth in the heart of Lucifer and he does all he can to encourage pride in humanity, especially in the church. Lucifer said in Isaiah 14:13,14 “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will be like the most High.” (Slide 62)

Love of display in the form of fashion, painting the face and wearing jewelry is the exaltation of self. (Slide 63)

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, (Slide 64)

that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Slide 65)

What should be the aim of God’s people today? (Slide 66)

Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Slide 67)

1 John 3:22 “And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.” (Slide 68)

Why is the Christian life such a high calling? (Slide 69)

1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; (Slide 70)

that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:” (Slide 71)

1 Timothy 2:9 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, … not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;” (Slide 72)

With the world all the attention is placed on the outward appearance, but with the converted Christian, it is the indwelling of Jesus through the Holy Spirit that adorns one’s life. (Slide 76)

God’s church or the whore church? Its people will show forth whom they serve. (Slide 77)

Titus 2:12 “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” (Slide 78)

And what about our thoughts? (Slide 79)

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, (Slide 80)

whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Slide 81)

There is a battle being waged for your mind and your heart. We are so fortunate to have the Spirit of Prophecy for the solemn warnings for God’s church of the last days. (Slide 82)

From 1SM 48.3 “Satan is . . . constantly pressing in the spurious--to lead away from the truth. The very last deception of Satan will be to make of none effect the testimony of the Spirit of God. ‘Where there is no vision, the people perish’ (Prov. 29:18). Satan will work ingeniously, in different ways and through different agencies, to unsettle the confidence of God's remnant people in the true testimony.”-- Letter 12, 1890. (Slide 83)

“There will be a hatred kindled against the testimonies which is satanic. The workings of Satan will be to unsettle the faith of the churches in them, for this reason: Satan cannot have so clear a track to bring in his deceptions and bind up souls in his delusions if the warnings and reproofs and counsels of the Spirit of God are heeded.”- Letter 40, 1890. (Slide 84)

Indeed there is a hatred kindled against the testimonies which is satanic, and this has ever been the case with all of God’s prophets. People like easy religion with no cross to bear. The testimonies if practiced, will keep one on the straight and narrow. But today God’s prophet of the last days has come under fierce attack and is considered irrelevant for the contemporary church. (Slide 85)

“Let us bear a plain, clear testimony right to the point, that hypnotism is being used by those who have departed from the faith, and that we are not to link up with them. Through those who depart from the faith, the power of the enemy will be exercised to lead others astray.”--Letter 237, 1904.

(Slide 86)“Satan often finds a powerful agency for evil in the power which one

human mind is capable of exerting on another human mind. This influence is so seductive that the person who is being molded by it is often unconscious of its power. (Slide 87)

God has bidden me speak warning against this evil, that His servants may not come under the deceptive power of Satan. The enemy is a master worker, and if God's people are not constantly led by the Spirit of God, they will be snared and taken.” {2SM 352.2}

(Slide 88)“I wish to sound a note of warning to our people nigh and afar off…

But there are doctors and ministers who have been influenced by the hypnotism exercised by the father of lies. Notwithstanding the warnings given, Satan's sophistries are being accepted now just as they were accepted in the heavenly courts. The science by which our first parents were deceived is deceiving men today.” SpTA12 8.3

(Slide 89)There are many forms of hypnotism today. There was the Neuro

Linguistic Programming in the 80’s and 90’s affecting many churches. But the most insidious of all is Dialectecal Praxis, the favorite of the Jesuits. It is capable of taking a person with solid beliefs and convincing them of the false doctrines, and they in turn convince others. How do we protect ourselves?

We are indeed the church militant and the order from our commander is found in Luke 9:23 “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
