• In 2018, a progressive procurement ‘working’ group made-up of
Heads of Procurement was established to:
• Develop a shared framework – focused on shared outcomes
and principles for the city
• Engage with local businesses – to support a city-wide effort to
promote a more inclusive Sheffield economy
• Foster collaboration – to ensure that efforts are joined-up and
opportunities maximised
• Current projects include working towards becoming a living wage
city, sharing learning around integrating social value measures,
showcasing progress on sustainability
