The enchanting town of Stratford upon Avon is a popular tourist destination owing to its status as birthplace of the playwright and poet William Shakespeare with 5 million visitors a year from all over the world. The Royal Shakespeare Company resides in Stratford's Royal Shakespeare Theatre, one of Britain's most important cultural venues. The town itself has many buildings that have survived over the years and would have been familiar to Shakespeare. The town is also known for its excellent schooling facilities. Its central position makes it an ideal location for commuting to the entire country with easy access to the Fosse Way, M40, M42, M1 and M6. The great fire of Warwick in 1694 destroyed much of the medieval town and as a result most of the buildings post date this period. One of the most popular tourist destinations in Warwick is its world famous castle. William the Conquerer founded Warwick Castle in 1068 on his way to Yorkshire to deal with the rebellion in the north. A consistent lure to the area for families is Warwick Boys School which is believed to be the oldest boys school in the country.

DirectionsTravelling north from London on the M40 take the exit at junction 15 onto the B4463. Travel for approximately a mile, take the left hand turn heading west onto the Henley Road/A4189. Upon entering the village of Claverdon take the first left hand turn onto Church Road. It will eventually join with Langley Road and you can find the property situated on the left. It can be easily identified with a Fine & Country for sale sign.
