THE MITH of "LADIES FIRST"

Ladies first term is used worldwide

But in reality it's a complete mith

The term"ladies first" Is used only for the less important matters e.g. To offer the seat in the

bus, To offer the dinner or

lunch etc3

When we talk of important and

powerful positions this term always

disappears 4

Though women are equally competent but still lag behind when there is a

competition for top and powerful positions

Men always grab the most powerful and most

easiest positions

Women representation is neglected at the

policy level

That's why everywhere in the world (whether it is corporate sector or

government sector) there are very less or no

representation of women at the top level

This is known as "glass

ceiling"

Glass ceiling is "unseen, yet unbreachable barrier that keeps women from

rising to the upper rungs of the corporate ladder,

regardless of their qualifications or achievements."

So in the real world what exist is "Ladies last"
