ThelmaThe second half of the duo. She wants as much control in the relationship as Sundance.

The StoryDaniel Addison, 50, is a marriage counselor in New York City. His clientele mainly consists of citizens of the city who tend to bring in various conflicts along with their aggressive nature into his office in hopes of a resolution.

The Set UpDaniel is also having trouble with his own marriage. He’s been married for 22 years, but his relationship with his wife is slowly deteriorating. They rarely talk, and when they do, the conservations aren’t pleasant. He’s losing faith in the institution of marriage as a whole.

The ConflictHowever, one night, Daniel is walking the streets of the city and is mugged by a pair of newlywed, amateur criminals, Sundance and Thelma.

The ResolutionThey argue and bicker as they attempt to mug him. Daniel recognizes the quarrel as a marital dispute and attempts to resolve it. The robbers are originally annoyed by Dan’s interference but eventually listen to his advice and reach a resolution by the end of the mugging. They still end up robbing him, but the crazy encounter inspires Dan to save his marriage and his job.
