• The UWI OC does not have Faculties but draws on faculty members from the other UWI campuses or resource persons from the region and the world.
• Its programme development, design and delivery are informed by the market and many of its programmes are transdisciplinary and solutions focused.
• Its research is issues driven and its agenda drawn up in consultation with other stakeholders.
