Firefox

• We used Firefox to template and edit our digi-pak. Firstly, we measured out the size of our digi-pak before opening a page to start working on.

VCL Snapshots

• Using VCL we were able to get snapshots of our main singer which we thought would be better than taking a picture as it was straight from the video and we thought that this would

be more effective for advertising our product.

Editing the snapshots

• From the snapshots, we were then able to edit the pictures using Firefox's rubber tool to remove the background

Photo shop• We also used photo shop to edit the images on the front cover of the digi-pak by adjusting

the colour and making it more abstract which gave more of the bright yellow and orange colour. We also made the shadows darker so the bright colours would have a stronger effect

Merging pictures

• For the background image of fireworks on the cover, we made a separate page on Firefox which we filled with the fireworks image and set as a background. When this was done, we added the images of the main singer on top and clicked “group” to ensure that the two images were now just one.

Spine

• When making the spine, we opened a new page with Firefox and altered the measurements to suits the size of the spine. When we had done this, we then used our chosen font to write the album name along the side.

Lyric booklet

• When we were making the lyric booklet, we had to alter the measurements so it was long enough to fold in half. When this was done, we added the fireworks images to decorate the pages and then typed up the lyrics on the pages

Back • For the back of the digi-pak, we decided to use another image of fireworks

and edited it so it looked the same colour as the front. We also faded the image slightly so that the text is legible. We then typed bar codes, syco music’s logo and a copy write warning into Google from which we were able to copy and paste onto our digi-pak.
