Retrace Health – Affordable Primary CareIn-Network with Medica and Open to everyone in Minnesota

Retrace Health is a Minnesota clinic that brings full-service primary care to you through video and in-home visits. Their mission is to make primary care more personal, convenient, and affordable. In the last part of a three part series, they will elaborate on what it means to them to be “Affordable”. “Traditional healthcare has a lot of unnecessary expense. Whether it is expensive buildings, layers and layers of management, or simply outdated business processes, there is a lot of waste that is passed on in the form of higher fees for patients.

We have been careful to build a clinic with very little overhead, where nearly all expense goes directly to the patient care. That allows us to bring primary care to you for the same or less than traditional clinics, and much less than urgent care clinics. And we are now in-network with Medica which means everything flows through your insurance just like any other clinic.”

To schedule or learn more about Retrace Health, go to www.retracehealth.com.

Grand Casino Associate Making Guests Feel Special and Welcomed A note left at the hotel on April 30 by Cheryl Peterson read, "Never, ever in my 58 years have I ever been welcomed anywhere with such genuine warmth and kindness as what Mr. Hosea Cook gave me a few minutes ago! He made me feel very special and wished me the best day in the most genuine and warm way. He went out of his way to make this old lady feel like I was going to have the best day of my life. You have one truly special employee there. Raise him up before someone else snatches him because I will spread the word."

Optum Informational Fair: Making Happiness a Habit Friday, May 27 11 am - 6 pm

Jukebox

What is happiness? Some say it’s the ability to enjoy where and who you are right now, even as you strive for something better. We spend our lives pursuing goals; it’s easy to base our happiness on whether or not we reach those goals. We often say, “I’ll be happy when I get that promotion” or “I’ll be happy when I have more money.” The trick is to keep your eye on the destination, while not forgetting to enjoy the trip. This information fair offers ways to increase your happiness by: • Journaling and blogging• Increasing your creativity• Putting more laughter in your life• Reframing negative thoughts• Tapping into mood lifters

When Life Goes SidewaysDo you ever feel like events in your life have gotten out of control? Some days, it’s easy to feel that way. No matter how diligently you set goals, visualize results, and affirm a positive outcome, every once in a while your life is going to feel as if it’s gone a little sideways.Carefully laid plans go up in smoke - sometimes quite literally. People you counted on, bail out on you. A health or family crisis strikes. An earthquake or tornado puts you back to square one. Suddenly, you feel as if you are completely off course, out of control, and lost at sea. At times like these, there are a few things it may help you to remember. First of all, no one can control every aspect of his or her life, and adversity comes to all of us, no matter how moral we are, and no matter how good our attitude is. Bad things happen to good people all the time. Second, it is important to realize that there is one and only one thing in life that is completely within your power to control, and that is your response to what happens to you. When you find yourself overcome with feelings of fear, helplessness, doom and gloom, you can put the brakes on these feelings by gently but firmly choosing to shift the focus of the thoughts that are running through your mind. Your feelings are a direct result of the thoughts you think, and setting aside some time every morning and evening for

positive visualization, affirmation, or guided meditation is a highly effective way of getting these thoughts back under your control again. Try it. You will be surprised at just how well it works.
