The Lundbeck Foundation is an industrial foundation established in 1954 with the main purpose of securing and expanding the Lundbeck-company and providing financial support to science of the highest quality.

Through a wholly owned company, the foundation holds substantial amounts of stock in H. Lundbeck A/S, ALK Abello A/S and Falck A/S.

Grants approximately DKK 500 million ($ 83 mill.) for biomedical and natural sciences a year.

Supports independent research in biomedicine and natural sciences.

Young researchers are given precedence.

Biomedical priorities are neuroscience, psychiatry, allergology/immune modulation and prehospital care.
