All paths lead to The LodgeNestled in the heart of Old Hunstanton, one of North Norfolk’s unspoilt villages, The Lodge is a listed hidden gem, well-matched with its idyllic location. A short stroll from the sand dunes of Old Hunstanton beach, there’s barely enough time to brush the sand from your feet before you wander up the lane to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat after a hard day’s beachcombing. We’re also a short distance from Hunstanton Golf Club and our flexible, comfortable accommodation is loved by golfers and families alike. And, if you’re feeling energetic, tackle our GPS-mapped 9- or 11-mile walk through Ringstead Downs and the Norfolk Coastal Path.

Time to sleepPerhaps it’s the sea air, perhaps it’s our supremely comfortable beds, but you can be sure of a great night’s sleep at The Lodge. In addition to our sumptuous first floor rooms, our second floor Attic and Loft have been developed into luxury suites offering fun, flexible sleeping accommodation for families or golfing partners. Our courtyard rooms can be booked as a group or singly for a uniquely luxurious experience. Each of these rooms - the Garden Shed, the Bottle Store and the Coal Bunker - include seating areas, skylights and even a jacuzzi bath in the Coal Bunker. Canine family members are welcome in these rooms.

Time to relaxThe Lodge offers both a vibrant meeting place and relaxation spot. Our open plan bar area welcomes you in for a drink by one of its two fires, at either end of the room, with all major sporting events shown on a flat-screen TV. For those less excited by athleticism and sporting prowess, the sumptuously furnished residents’ lounge offers a hideaway to sit and read the newspapers or simply to relax, unwind and let the world go by.

Time to eatWhen your tummy is rumbling, start with a drink at the bar (and make it one of our locally sourced ales or wine merchant-recommended bottles) before picking up our seasonal menu and checking out the daily specials board. Our menu features fantastic ‘pub fayre’ with Mediterranean touches - try one of our sharing tapas boards, feast on a burger that you’ll need two hands to devour, make sure the kids eat well with our home-cooked children’s meals, and then indulge in a divine dessert. Got your mouth watering? Good. It’s even more sensational on the plate.
