Step 1 Your hearing aids

The retainer* is curled inside your ear to hold the speaker in place - see Step 4. It can be trimmed or removed if you prefer.

Flat battery is indicated by voice prompt “flat battery” every few minutes.

Step 2 Inserting batteriesSWITCH HEARING AIDS ON AND OFF.2.1 Remove sticker from the positive side of the battery.

2.2 Carefully open the hearing aid door.

2.3 Insert battery positive-side-up.

2.4 Close battery door - it will click shut.

2.5 Hearing aid turns on with a “beep” and a voice prompt says “everyday”.

Step 3 Using ear tipsEAR TIPS HELP WITH COMFORT.Ear tips are soft silicon domes that fit over the speaker.

The purpose is to hold the speaker more securely in the ear canal. Usage is optional for comfort and replacements can be ordered online.

The largest size is called a tulip. It also boosts volume by partially occluding the canal (this stops sound leaking out).

How to use

3.1 Choose a comfortable size: sleeve, small, medium, large or tulip.

3.2 Slide firmly over the speaker.

Step 4 Inserting hearing aidsIT BECOMES EASIER WITH PRACTICE.

How to insert

4.1 Hook the hearing aid over your ear.

4.2 Guide the cable and speaker over the front of your ear and push the earpiece gently into the ear canal.

4.3 Tuck the retainer back into the bowl of your ear. This retainer can be trimmed or removed if you prefer.

WAX STOPS ARE SMALL WHITE FILTERS THAT PROTECT THE SPEAKER FROM WAX.

Step 8 Wax stops

Your hearing aids are supplied with a packet of wax stops. Wax stops should be changed as necessary with wax build-up.

Left = clear Right = blocked

How to change wax stops

8.1 To remove an old wax stop use the blank end of the prong.

8.2 To insert a new wax stop firmly insert the new wax stop on the other end of the prong.
