What is a Kopiki Marketplace?
A Kopiki Marketplace is an online forum where, as a buyer, you can meet, converse with and obtain a quote from suppliers offering products or services you require.
As a Kopiki Buyer you have anonymous control of your marketplace. You interact with the suppliers that have been matched and you decide if any are right for you. Subsequently you decide when to release your details.

The three main reasons for opening a marketplace are:
1. To find new suppliers An existing supplier may have gone out of business or you might have a need for a new product or service which you have not had to acquire before, or you may just be looking for a new supplier because you’re not 100% satisfied with a current one.

An urgent need for a product or serviceThere may come a time when you need to make a ‘spot purchase’, an occasional or infrequent purchase, of an unknown product or service.This can be challenging and therefore a Kopiki Marketplace can provide supplier discovery.Spot purchases may also be a deliberate purchasing strategy with known suppliers when prices are volatile, particularly when prices are falling i.e. to save money before they rise.

3. To ensure value for money Supplier benchmarking can be used to identify areas of improvement in the supply chain and to make efforts to address them as part of a continuous improvement process. Alternatively it can be used as a tool to research the market and compare the offers from different suppliers for a product/service, against price and also other identified criteria.

What does a Kopiki Marketplace cost?
As a Kopiki Buyer you receive one free marketplace a month. You don’t have to use it but it won’t accumulate.If you find you need more per month because you purchase many products and services, there are other subscription options, which you can find in the ‘My Account’ area of your Dashboard. You can upgrade at any time.

How do I open a marketplace?
It’s simple. Just go to ‘New MarketPlace’ in your Dashboard and complete all the details on the page. Alternatively use the Wizard.When you’re done, click the ‘Open MarketPlace’ button at the bottom.
